I am a kind of travelholic and have visited about 40 countries. (I believe I'm not an alcoholic. Drinking with guests was just my main job at the hostel. good excuse) What I always remember is not so much where I went, but the memories of the travelers and staff I have become friends at hostels and other places. I want my guests and staff to have the same unforgettable memories. For this reason, I want the staff members to focus on enjoying themselves and entertaining the guests.

A had an amazing time in R hostel! Although I only stayed here for a short while, I met so many great people and made good friends. It is definitely the most social hostel in all of Osaka and it’s really easy to talk to everyone here. The work was well communicated and in most days we were finished in under 3 hours!
If you want to come to Osaka, definitely apply here :)

I had a good time. It’s a very social place. Close to the Center of Osaka. The work was never too much. And the staff are nice people.

My time in R Namba Hostel South was fantastic. As my first WP experience, it certainly makes me want to volunteer abroad again! The staff were great, the guests were usually pleasant, location is ideal and the work was never too difficult.
This experience taught me loads and most importantly, it helped me improve my social skills by a lot.
While you aren’t obliged to always do party promotion, I would recommend this job to anyone who is an extrovert and are looking to discover the iconic nightlife within Osaka.

It was my first experience as a volunteer and i absolutely loved it! The staff was nice and caring like if u had a problem u always find a way to solve it peacefully ! The work was very easy and most of the time we ended up in 2-3h. There were a lot of event in the hostel with the guest like takoyaki party that were perfect to meet a lot of people !
I definitly recommanded and I wish to come back there because i loved it ! Perfect for a first experience !
Thanks to the staff who were perfect as they were and for making me enjoy my stay and Osaka life !

This is 100% the best hostel I have ever worked in!! I stayed for 2 months and there was always something going on. We had many takoyaki parties and lots of unforgettable nights out!
All of the staff are amazing as well as many of the guests. The atmosphere is always so fun and lively. The workload is not hard at all. You can finish some days very early, and they are not very strict on starting times. You have many days off, so you can explore the surrounding prefecture and cities. Thank you to everyone at the Hostel for making my experience in Osaka so much fun and I will be back very soon!
