Well were offering an opportunity to stay in one of the most amazing places in the state.
The “Bud” in “Bud & Breakfast “ is not a typo !
We are a cannabis friendly property that cultivates for our visitors.
Alaska is a legal state and we turned to this business model in 2015 with legalization. We no longer serve traditional B&B guests, instead we are teaching our craft and giving back to others in need of plant medicine.

We are located on the famous Katchemac Bay as seen on the reality show "The Last Frontier ".
Our volunteers will not only learn new skills,but they will be fully immersed in our
"Alaskan Lifestyle"...
Your accommodations are on our homestead in the main village ,walking distance to shops, dining and evening entertainment.
Our work schedule is flexible and changes daily based on weather. We only ask for a few hours a day making plenty of time for your own adventures.
Duties include gardening indoor and outdoor, basic lawn grounds care, wood splitting ,some painting in MAY-JUNE timeframe .July and August volunteers will be part of the blueberry harvest. July -August volunteers will be a part of the mushroom harvesting team.

My husband Thomas is retired from the Alaska Air Nation Guard where he spent 30 years flying rescue missions not only here in Alaska ,but several wartime deployments overseas. I have been running Alaskan Bed & Breakfast for as long as I can remember and now am enjoying retirement with Thomas. I absolutely love having B&B guests every year, but find now that I would rather host volunteers so we can reach more of an audience . The cost of visiting Alaska increases every year ,and I feel that Alaskas many blessing should be shared with all ,not just those that can afford expensive vacations. Tom & I are both natural hard workers that enjoy playing equally as much. NO VOLUNTEER will ever be asked to do something we aren't right there doing with you. We respect peoples privacy and ask you do the same.
