Situated on the West coast of mainland Scotland, Skye is the largest and best known of the Inner Hebridean Islands. One of Europe’s most dramatic and haunting lands, words can do little justice in describing the awesome beauty of the Isle of Skye. The majestic Cuillin Mountains dominate the rugged landscape, which is peppered with lochs, glens and tiny fishing villages. Skye Backpackers is located in the picturesque fishing village of Kyleakin and is surrounded by mountains and sea.
We are a fun & friendlly hostel who are always in need of helping hands to keep the place clean, tidy and welcoming for our guests. So what's the deal?

First of all: Isle of Skye is terrific! You’ll never regret of going there. It’s a spectacular show of nature!
Skye Backpackers is a cozy hostel, Heather, the manager is an awesome person, willing to make you feel at home, flexible, cheerful, I had the pleasure to go out with her and other volunteers at Skye. I had a great time with Skye BP team.
In Skye you have some options of transportation: bus, walk, car and hitchhiking, which I did a lot. You should probably spend at least 1 month there. I’d definitely come back. Cheers!!

I had the most amazing time at Skye backpackers! The work is fair and the hours are totally respected. Heather, the manager, is wonderful! She is friendly, funny, helpful and is always around for us. Skye is soooo beautiful! The other volunteers were amazing too! I felt like home. Thanks, guys! Go to Skye, everyone!

I had a such great experience in the Skye Backpackers. The people were amazing and the tasks were very simple and clear. Also I had a lot time to explore the Isle of Skye, that is a very beautiful place. I just have to thanks my colleagues and also Heather who was super kind and helpful all the time. I really hope that I can back one day. Thanks for everything and see you soon guys!!

That was the best experience of my life! Hostel staff and all volunteers were very friendly and companions with me! I had an incredible time and two months here went by as fast as a week. Isle Of Skye is the most beautiful place I've ever seen, it's worth! A special thanks to Heather who was always very understanding, fair and helped me a lot while I was at the Hostel! It's definitely a place I would go back to again and again.

The experiencie in Sky was amazing. First, Heather complied with all the conditions stipulated in volunteering and was super friendly with all the volunteers. Second, Skye is an amazing place to explore, conect with nature and the local culture. Definitely I would recommend the experiencie and I would love to return to Skye in the future.
