Situated in a complex of six UNESCO World Heritage listed Brugean step-gable houses and surrounded by Bruges´ historical centre, St. Christophers Inn - The Bauhaus offers the best party atmosphere and beer selection of any Bruges hostel. With walking tours, bike tours and Belgian beer tastings on-site every day, there's always a great experience waiting for you in the bar - try some of our 40+ high quality Belgian beers and chat to our friendly international staff for some sightseeing recommendations and local tips! We have a strong focus on atmosphere, fun and a positive work attitude. All of our staff love what they do and have fun doing it! The hostel has a range of dorm sizes (4x 6x 8x 10x 12x 16x beds) and private rooms to suit all guest requirements. Room rates include a free continental breakfast served every morning in the bar, and unlike other hostels, we make and strip all of the beds so guests can relax as soon as they get their key! Awesome travelers bar downstairs open until 2am 2x daily Happy Hours (6-7 and 10-11) 24/7 reception incl. check in/out (so no curfew!) The Bauhaus has a mixed staff of international and local people, something that brings a unique atmosphere to both the bar and hostel. We are a team who loves to have fun and always make an effort to ensure all of the staff get involved in the party.

This was my first worldpackers experience and I couldn't be happier! Steve and the rest of the staff were so welcoming and made me feel at home. The job was easy and the hours were very fair. Bruges is a beautiful and magical place, overall I couldn't recommend Bauhaus enough:)

I really loved my stay at Bauhaus!! The staff is super welcoming and approachable, all the volunteers are fun to hang out with and working hours are respected. You have to work 4 days a week and in the morning shift you are usually done faster than expected. All the volunteers (14 people) sleep together in the same room. You have enough space for yourself, tho you have to make effort to keep it tidy since it's used by many people. Volunteers have their own kitchen with all the necessary equipment and fridge/shelves to store your stuff. I'd definitely highly recommend this place to everyone! :)
