We are close to several famous tourist spots in Faro. So while you help us here at the guesthouse you will also have the opportunity to get to know the city very well.
We like to share our experiences and learn from the traveler's life experience as well. It is nice to have different people helping us out and giving us new ways to see things.

Foi a minha primeira experiência e posso dizer que foi excelente! O meu quarto era limpo e aconchegante. O hostel fica no centro e perto de absolutamente tudo, você consegue fazer tudo a pé. O trabalho é super simples. As horas são respeitadas como está na plataforma e as folgas também.Todos foram muito receptivos comigo, eu amei conhecer todos!E apesar do país ter a língua nativa como português, Faro é uma cidade muito turística, então você acaba tendo que falar espanhol e inglês sim se quiser se comunicar com as outras pessoas e fazer conexões. Obrigada Pedro, Sonja e Josefina.

Leia bem as regras antes de se aplicarem, esse foi o meu primeiro e eu estva com a expectativa alta.. achei que seria incrivél, mas na verdade foi um trabalho de empregada domestica.. e Josephina, a moça que fala as tarefas foi super grossa e impaciente comigo. foi uma experiencia que eu nao gostaria novamente

My stay at the Portuguese element was really great! The working hours (max. 4 hours per day) were always respected. The work itself can be sometimes be a bit exhausting but it is never overwhelming and I always managed to finish the tasks in time. Pedro and Sonja are the most amazing hosts and make you feel really appreciated. They even invited us to their home and cooked for us.
But most of all the other volunteer girls that I met on my trip made this experience so special - they became like a family abroad, like a home away from home and will always have a special place in my heart 💛

Mi experiencia en Faro fue maravillosa. La mejor parte sin duda es conocer al resto de voluntarios, el ambiente es genial. El trabajo no es duro y son generosos con los días libres. La ciudad es muy bonita y con mucho ambiente, y además te permite conocer de forma rápida y barata el resto de ciudades de Algarve. Hay que tener en cuenta que la playa está un poco lejos, por lo que hay que coger un ferry para llegar, aunque es bastante barato. Pedro, Sonia y Josefina nos trataron muy bien siempre, y estuvieron para nosotras siempre que lo necesitamos. En general, mi experiencia fue muy positiva!

Volunteering in Faro was my first worlpackers experience. And I must say I had some amazing weeks here.
You always have shifts around 10am-14am depending on how many people there are to work and some days can get heavier.
But you always know what to do and things about work were communicated immediately.
You are having lunch at another hostel which was really good due to other volunteers from other hostels that cooked for us :))
By not only getting to know your roommates but also volunteers from other hostels you meet many new people which is amazing! Thanks to Sonja, Pedro and Josefina<3
