Tipsea Turtle Gili Air and Gili Trawangan, Lombok
We have 2 hostels - 1 on Gili Air and 1 on GIli Trawangan, in Lombok, Indonesia. We have a strong team and are looking for friendly, enthusiastic and social individuals to help us maintain our great atmosphere.
Volunteers will be treated like any other staff member. That means they'll be respected, have responsibilities and also autonomy. You'll be offered a dorm bed, breakfast every morning and the same specials on the bar as the other staff.

Volunteering at Tipsea Turtle was one of the best things I have ever done in my life. The host, the staff, the people are extremely kind and helpful. I could really experience the island life, meeting locals exploring the island. The breakfast is really tasty and the hostel is really good vibes with different activities and with an amazing Joga classes. Definitely recommend this place as a volunteer and as a guest as well. Forever be grateful to stay here at Tipsea! Gonna come back for sure!

My first volunteering experience through worldpackers and I just loved it! Everyone at tipsea is lovely, I’ve met amazing people among the other volunteers and the staff memebers too <3 everything is clear and the tasks are well explained, and you can always talk to Lexy if something is not clear! I really enjoyed my time there and I’m already thinking of going back next year <3

Had the BEST three weeks volunteering at Tipsea Turtle, I definitely would’ve stayed longer if my visa wasn’t expiring. I taught the yoga classes and helped out with the breakfast shift 6 days a week, so I had so much time to enjoy Gili Air whenever I wasn’t “working”, if you can even call it that! Lexy is such a sweetheart and the staff are all so lovely too, and don’t get me started on my fellow volunteers. Was definitely quite hard to leave, I might have cried a little…

Volunteering at Tipsea Turtle is one the highlights of my travels! All the staff, local, managers & volunteers were amazing at all times and made it feel like a home away from home. The tasks given were clear and easy enough for it to not feel like you’re working, after all you’re living in tropical paradise! I would 100% recomend this for any open minded travellers who want to stay somewhere for an extended period of time, want to meet new people (lots of people) and create incredible experiences which will stay with you forever :) Tipsea Turtle is the place to be!
