We are a fun, multicultural and busy hostel located in the heart of the beautiful city of Lisbon. Our goal is to provide a lifetime experience not only to our guests but also to our staff.
Over the past 10 years, we have gotten the privilege to work with amazing people from all over the world that became part of our family

My time volunteering at UGH was amazing. The staff is fantastic, the tasks are easy, and as I did the night shift, I had lots of free time to explore the city. Originally, I planned to stay for just a month, but I ended up staying almost 4 months. Big thanks to Izzy and Alejandra for being so supportive, creating a wonderful atmosphere. It feels like home, like family. Obrigado! 🤍

This volunteering was my favorite so far! Staying for two months at Urban Garden Hostel was the best decision and I'm happy that I was able to extend my stay! The energy of the hostel and of the volunteers and the staff is amazing and you easily bond with everyone there! I'm so grateful for volunteering there and for the friends that I made. My experience was so amazing that I can't wait to go back volunteering in the hostel. The volunteering in Urban Garden Hostel is a good exchange, you'll be able to walk around Lisboa, making new friends and work in a good environment. I highly recomment it

My first experience volunteering was beyond my expectations. I’ve adored my time at UGH. From staff to volunteers the community is warm, kind and respectful.
The work hours are respected and easy especially when working with friends, plus the staff member on shift always helps you out. I can’t wait to come back <3 lots of love

I had a great time at urban<3 I felt very welcomed by the team and the other volunteers and I had so much fun! The tasks were easy and especially fun when working together.
