A hostel is a perfect place to meet people from all around the world, so it could be a great cultural and linguistic experience! We can also teach him/her Italian language and culture while we work and live together, and give very good Italian cooking advice!
Our hostel is run by a family and our team is made of very nice and friendly people! It would be a pleasure for us to host someone and make him/her feel part of the family!

this was easily the best first volunteer opportunity i could’ve had, immediately when i arrived i felt welcome and at home and that feeling only grew over my month at urbanpop. the work was not overly difficult nor was it ever any more/longer than described. salvo and reza were the most amazing hosts and always made us feel happy and comfortable in the hostel. i would recommend this experience to anyone

I volunteered for about one month and had a great time. Salvo and Reza are very caring and helpful and I felt comfortable at the hostel. I met people from all over the world, tried local food and was able to travel a bit! The tasks are not too hard, you get easily used to it but I would have wished it was one more day off in the week. Still I can really recommend this experience!

The weeks I spent at UrbanPop Hostel were amazing! The work wasn't difficult since it was just housekeeping and being in the front desk. The schedule was flexible and the hours were as agreed. Salvo and Reza are super nice and welcoming, I met some great people during my time there and had the chance to travel around Sicily. It was my first volunteering experience and I'm really grateful for it!

I had a really nice time at the hostel. It was my first volunteering experience and I really enjoyed it ! I met so many people and was able to travel to a lot of places in Sicilia.
And Salvo is such a good person.
The hours were as agreed but when there were less volunteers the work was a little bit more difficult.

The overall experience was great! The work and accommodation were just as agreed upon. The people there were friendly and helpful.
One thing I would like to comment on was the meal situation, I feel like the hostel could have offered more food.
