Big Hairy cows and cute fluffy calves..everyboy loves them and they'll love you:-) A pretty good reason to come here? - but that's not all! You have the stunning scenery of the Scottish Highlands, immediate access to unfettered free walking and swimming, accommodation in an set of unique self-built eco-buildings - all within easy reach of mainline services to Inverness an Edinburgh.
Whoever is on the farm is part of the farm family - its as simple as that. Everyone is treated with respect and care - because that establishes a proper environment to live and work by. We eat together at least once a day because that really is the best way to share stories and ideas, and by working together we learn about co-operation and community - qualities that we need so badly these days.

Fue increíble!! La disfrute y aprendí mucho, Roy (el anfitrión) es genial, el tiene una linda sabiduría que comparte con los brazos abiertos si tú deseas.
Aprendí mucho sobre las vacas highlands y construcción. Conocí voluntarios de otros países que se hicieron familia durante la estancia.
Practique mi inglés en todo momento lo cual me ayudó bastante, pero como me hubiese gustado tenerlo mas fluido desde un comienzo, para haber aprendido más y expresar mi gratitud y cariño con más claridad. En fin no se que deparará el futuro a Roy y Noggy pero de corazón les deseo lo mejor !!!

During my stay at Uvie Farm I learned a lot about Highland Cattle. From feeding, washing, combing or sometimes just petting them, Roy allowed us to take part in every activity with the animals which was absolutely awesome. The Airbnb we took care of required a lot of work but by structuring our tasks, everything worked out and I had a lot of fun in such a beautiful accomodation.
Roy is not only an amazing host but also a great person! He always made sure everyone felt comfortable and that made me feel very safe at Uvie Farm :)

Roy es un muy buen anfitrión, respeta los tiempos de cada persona y es muy flexible. Uvie Farm es un sitio perfecto para desconectar de la ciudad y conectar con la naturaleza. El trabajo a realizar es sencillo y muy satisfactorio, repetiríamos sin lugar a dudas. Gracias Roy, ¡espero que nos volvamos a ver pronto!
