Quinta Verde
We are in a centenary farm. We moved in winter 2020 to here and we are enjoying the life in country side.
We are doing permaculture, and eco construction. Regenerating the eco
system.
We like to receive people. We work as a guest house, for some income. We like people collaborative, responsible and take this serious. We like to smile, share and take life in a easy way. I already lived in many places, India, Tunisia, Turkey in Porto and inside Portugal.

My short stay at Quita Verde was lovely. I felt warmly welcomed right away. I recommend choosing this place if you are looking for a safe and relaxing space surrounded by nature and away from the typical city routine. Marco is a lovely, cultured and interesting person, I really felt connected with him. The work is simple and if you want, you can learn a lot from Marco. Overall I have nothing bad to say, just thank you for this experience. See you soon Quinta Verde!

It started out well. Marco said to sleep inside on the couch if it’s was a bad environment in the tent. I felt crawling up into my shorts one night, a mouse, it ran around my tent, thus I slept inside. He said I can’t do that & that if I wasn’t on my phone for hours during the day then I would be able to solve the problem. This is unrelated. I used my phone solely during designated free time. He said to a new volunteer “this is the living room, it’s usually nicer but Olivia decided to sleep all day.” Our free time was dictated. People were scared to ask clarifying questions. I could add more.

Feel quite sad your your writing. Things get solved talking not running way. If you dont feel happy you left as you done, but with education.
Also not nice to say things that are not true and very rude "Our free time was dictated. People were scared to ask clarifying questions". Im always open, people dont need to do if they dont feel like.

Staying with Marco and helping out at the Walnut farm was an amazing experience and a great break from the hustle and bustle of big cities. We learnt so much about a wide range of farm jobs including gardening, animal care and cooking with fresh produce, and the work never really felt like work! Marco (and his adorable pets) made us feel really welcome - he took us out to see some local sights too, including a village fair. Would highly recommend this to anyone! Thanks again Marco for such a great first Worldpackers experience!

Super recomendable, Marco es una persona super tranquila, muy paciente y muy simpático. Las cosas que hay por hacer son sencillas, la estadía es muy linda, las personas, los animales, todo súper bonito. Volvería otra vez ❤️

I had a very memorable and lovely time in Vila Nova de Monsarros. It's a beautiful area with lots of stunning nature. Marco cares about his volunteers and guests and made me feel welcome. I miss the dogs, the cat, the fresh oranges and the people I met there!
