We are offering you an opportunity to learn about the inner workings of a hostel in a cool environment and you will have the chance to do now one of the most beatiful town in Portugal and also deal with local people. Our hostel is a brand new surf hostel located in Peniche famous for the amazing surf area, just 1h from Lisbon. We open our doors in 2019 and is the 6 hostel of our group. Just in the city center. Its also close in walking distance to supermarket, city center, bars, restaurants...and of course surf spots.
We are a friendly and young team with different backgrounds. We love to learn new things and we also hope that you learn something while you are here.

Peniche is the perfect place for those who love nature, beach and surf! I had a wonderful month at WOT, an amazing hostel with wonderful people. I felt welcomed from the first day, both the volunteers and the staff were very welcoming and made my stay even more special! I highly recommend volunteering there ;)

A minha experiencia na WOT foi impecável, obtive vivencias incríveis, desde o primeiro dia até a minha saída. Me senti em casa por terem me recebido tão bem, tanto o Tharik quanto a sua equipe. O ambiente é super chill e possui uma infraestrutura maravilhosa também. Tive muita sorte de ter me candidato para um voluntariado que faz muito sentido com o meu estilo de vida. É um ambiente relaxante, e amigável, onde você pode ter o seu espaço nas áreas comuns, mas também tem a oportunidade de socializar e fazer amigos do mundo inteiro, para quem quer praticar inglês essa vaga é perfeita para você.

Minha experiência no Wot Peniche foi incrível! Vim para ficar 1 mês e acabei estendendo por mais 30 dias. Os turnos de trabalho são bem justos e Tharik é um ótimo anfitrião, sendo aberto a conversas, pedidos e sugestões. Desde o início me senti acolhida pelos voluntários e restante do staff e podemos disfrutar de benefícios como aula de surf e yoga grátis.
Super recomendo a experiência, conheci lugares e pessoas incríveis <3

WOT Peniche is a hostel that catch your attention since you cross the door in but the staff group, workers and Otavio (the cat) are the reason why you fall in love with this place.

Efficient and professional management team, hardworking and sociable staff, inspiring and diverse co-volunteers, and an excellent work-life balance. All this corresponds to a an excellent recipe for an unforgettable volunteering experience, and WOT Peniche has it all and MORE! It offers some of the best benefits I’ve seen on this platform so far. Free use of bicycles, free breakfast, free surf lessons (including free board and suit rental), a dedicated volunteer’s dorm, and sometimes free yoga classes are on offer as well. If you’re still searching, search no more. This place feels like HOME.
