Zeus is Loose Hostel

We are a new & modern Hostel with awesome fascilities in the heart of - literally - the most vibrant city of Greece, Thessaloniki!
Food (no kidding, the best in the whole country) Culture, History and loads of bars and events round the year!

Our team consists of 5 receptionists, the cleaning staff, and the guys working on our lovely rooftop cafe-bar! Our volunteers will get the chance to feel the divine vibe of a godly Hostel! Besides that, we guarantee a warm welcome and all the assistance to settle in our wonderful city and create a memorable memory!

Life changing experience! The place is always clean. Staff is super friendly. The job is easy. I met a ton of cool people here.
The experience was so good that I’ve extended my stay to double the length it was originally.
The hostel is ideally located. It has a big common room in which you can cook, eat and just chill. Would recommend 100%.

Volunteering here feels like staying in a hotel! You truly feel privileged to volunteer at Zeus Hostel because of all the benefits and flexibility they offer in exchange for very simple work. The hostel is amazing, cozy, and provides the chance to connect with many people. Also, you will have plenty of time to explore the city, which is beautiful.

My first Worldpackers experience was truly exceptional. The work was easy, flexible, and enjoyable, and the team was absolutely incredible. The hostel itself was welcoming, and Thessaloniki is a vibrant city that's impossible not to fall in love with. I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

PROS:
the work is very easy (1-3 hours/day based on how busy it is)
amazing facilities
you get your own room and bathroom
housekeeping changes your linens and tidies up the room once a week
free trips to mt. Olympus and Chalikidiki on the weekends (if 2 or more guests sign up)

CONS:
you will be the only volunteer
not the most social hostel I've been to (the social aspect is mostly dependent on you)
they will put guests in your room if it's overbooked (happened for about half my stay)
they don't let you know when someone will be in your room even though they said they would

Con, being the only volunteer ''for such very easy work'' , is quite contradicting
Also, you wanted to have a private 4 - bed dorm by yourself. Probably this is not the case and quite not nice from you to express it like that.

This is the one ! Not only is the hostel more like a hotel and you feel really comfortable in its facilities, also the people are amazing! Fotini does a great job managing and Kostas is always there if you need anything. Work (making pancakes or organising game nights ) is very fun and flexibel, you meet a lot of great people ! Free coffee was definitely my highlight ;) recommend 10/10
