Detalhes

We are flexible hosts who value independence, initiative and self motivation. In general, and for this role specifically, there is no fixed daily schedule. Instead, we will provide you with enough tasks to keep you busy and long term goals you will work to achieve. Our two main goals for this position are the major improvement of our website, and the creation of hostel signs and materials. We hope for you to be passionate about this work, feel comfortable here with us and help us with very tangible improvements to our hostel!

Atividades & Turnos

No specific hours; we will discuss what your tasks are upon arrival, and have weekly check ins to see your progress. Right now we are in low season (February-May), so it is very quiet here. Other tasks could include checking in the occasional guest, cooking (if interested) and cleaning up from group dinners and being present in the hostel when no other staff/volunteers are around. We also have three dogs (two puppies) if spending time with them interests you.
In the high season (July-September) we will be very busy and your main tasks will be web and graphic design as we will have designated receptionists. All we ask is that you are flexible and willing to help guests or us with anything that my arise.
Many nights of the week we have group dinners. In the high season there will also be lots more guest activities, tours and pub crawls you can partake in!
