Volunteering at the hostel Peniche has been one of my best experiences ever and definitely my best volunteering experience so far. The vibe there is just different. It's such a big hostel where you can share so many good moments as well as being by yourself. Théo, the volunteers coordinator is not only a very good leader, but also such a nice and funny person. I would recommend to anyone to live this experience, hopefully you'll like it as much as I did and you'll meet as many cool people as I did. Loads of love to the whole the hostel family. <3

Although this was my first experience, I felt very comfortable at the hotel. From the very beginning, the hotel staff treated me like family. The tasks, while sometimes tedious, were simple and easy to perform. I recommend the hotel as a place for travelers, but I would like to see improvements in organization and more fluid communication with the volunteers. Thank you very much to everybody for such a lovely experience, in particular to Yasmin to make my experience better and easier.

Volunteering at the hostel is one of the most enjoyable experience you can have, the team is really nice, I've been surfing everyday before or after my shifts, the kitchen is really beautiful, the work to do is displayed between all of the team (employee and volunteer) so you are never alone to work, we had a rotation on the different shift so you can do all you want on your free time, really nice place, thanks for all 🫶🏽🙏☀️ I grandly recommend it and I'll come back for sure

My experience at the hostel Peniche was very positive. As a volunteer, I had time for my favorite activities and simple tasks that allowed me to study, focus on personal projects, and stay active at the gym. I enjoyed my days off at the beach learning to surf, met wonderful people, and visited places like Algarve and Porto thanks to the hostel's facilities. Playing pool with Théo was fun, even though I won all the games. The supportive staff made the work environment better, always offering help. I will remember this experience fondly and hope to return soon 🙌🏼🙏🏼.

It was an incredible and transformative experience! ✨ The hostel is very cozy, the work is super easy, the schedule is available in advance, which helps you organize yourself for possible trips. The team and volunteers who were already there were very welcoming. I built friendships and I felt at home! I will miss those days and everyone I met! And being able to stay in other the hostel and take surfing lessons was the cherry on top!

My experience in the hostel was incredible! The hostel is one of the best I have stayed in with many things to do, the team is great and became like family! And Theo is the absolute best manager, always trying to help and bring the team together 🙌 The hours are always respected and the work is really chill and easy, anybody can do it! Volunteers have a lot of free time to chill or explore the town! Peniche is quite small but it's easy to take day trips from there, and it's perfect if you want to surf or enjoy beach days! 😎

This was my first volunteering experience and it couldn't be more fantastic! The entire team is amazing and living in Peniche is more than incredible. The hostel is 10 min walking from the beach, I was able to learn how to surf, to ride bikes and was also able to connect w many international travelers. The vibe is more chilling like and we(the volunteers team) were always planning things to do together. Home away from home ❤️

I enjoyed my time in Peniche. The hostel is really cool, the staff and other volunteers were great. Doing night shift was extremely easy and chill with just a couple of simple tasks needed to be done. The beach, the shops being less than 10 minutes away is very convenient.
