A experiência

Help our farm-to-table experience program at our English education farm. Interact with families and their children through programs that combine agriculture and education. Help students experience farms through cooking together with English recipes. On weekdays help us for a few hours gardening and maintaining our indoor hydroponic greenhouse. Spend time in our village sharing your culture, going on trips, eating and playing together.

Detalhes

Every weekend you will spend interacting and engaging with these visitors inside our farm. Families are eager to enjoy the fruit, but more importantly converse with you on a personal level. For the shyer children simple conversation will satisfy their eager parents. You will also have time in the cafe to do activities with the families. Opportunities like teaching children to make pizzas, family sauces, and salsa, strawberry cakes, scones, Korean food, or other farm to table recipes help children and parents come alive as they bond like family in the tranquility outside of the busy city.

Other time would be spent assisting in cleaning of our cafe, cleaning of the common areas and your bedrooms, as well as occasionally doing structured day camp programs with local elementary students. On weekdays kindergartens will look at you in wonder during the weekday morning field trips here.

Atividades & Turnos

During weekdays you will work with our farmer at our indoor hydroponic fruit farm. All of our farm is inside and indoors, so the experience is quite pleasant regardless of weather or season. Weekdays our farmer cleans away spoiled fruit, trims the plants, picks fruit and packages it for customers who have reservations on the weekend. We also receive students from the region's public schools on science field trips, as well as summer camps
