A experiência

As a farm assistant, the volunteer will assist the farm manager and tractor operator in the daily activities on the farm. these activities will include propagating plants, transplanting, preparing beds for planting, fertilizing, weeding, pruning, harvesting and post-harvest handling of fruits and vegetables. Some activities will include the care of livestock, such as cleaning sheds, feeding, fixing fences and gates and administering medicines.

Note that we do supply volunteers with staples to cook such as rice, oil, beans, lentils, other grains, pasta and vegetables and fruit from the farm. We only supply for a vegetarian diet; no meats, snacks or sodas. You can help yourself from it and buy snacks of your preference to complement the meals :)
