In the child care area, we are looking for people who like working with children, who are dynamic and who support the different activities proposed by the teachers. The support to the teachers in the care of the children, guiding the child in the subjects provided, student reinforcement, support in cleaning in the classrooms, cleaning in the kitchen, support in washing dishes and glasses, as well as in other scheduled activities.

In Guatemala, there is a lot of poverty and a lack of opportunities to find decent and stable jobs. In the case of these single mothers, the few options in the country are minimum. We want to change their situation by helping them start their own business and offering them more services to improve their physical and psychological health and their children's. We are setting the stage in Guatemala; We introduce different ways of learning and growing, such as; Mindfulness, philosophy, and holistic ways of living.

We hope to find positive, loving, and caring people interested in helping these children and their mothers enhance their quality of life and give them a more hopeful future.

Atividades & Turnos

On the days you go to the PROJECT, you will work 6 hours Monday through Friday. There are two shifts which are rotating. You may work one week in the mornings and the next week in the afternoons.
We will provide you with a person who will guide you to take transportation from your home to the project.
please read everything before applying (minimum stay of 1 month).

All volunteers must commit to

Be punctual, Be reliable, Be responsible.
Notify us if your availability changes or if you are leaving the organization.
Handle grievances in the proper manner. Participate in training courses as requested. Ask for help when you need it. Support other team members
HOUSE RULES
Excessive alcohol consumption is not allowed in the house. No guests are allowed in the house without consent. No drugs or weapons are allowed in the house. You will receive a set of keys to the front door and the sleeping area; if you lose your keys, you will be responsible for the cost of making new copies. Failure to comply with any of these rules will result in termination of your program.
