If you are reading this you better start praying to get accepted here (honestly!). I've volunteered in many hostels before and have always been lucky to find a place like this; where it feels like home, people are like family and has great facilities. MGMT, Leo then and now Georgia, have made my stay here memorable! The weekly hours, schedule and tasks are just perfect and flexible. Thank you the hostel family for keeping us all, the volunteers, here during the COVID19 pandemic and being supportively. I will forever be thankful for this opportunity. Cheers, Ricardo

Ricardo is the best guest entertainer we ever had! He is so good that he should be paid to do his magic. He is very social, witty and friendly, spreading nothing but good vibes. We had guests extending their stay because of the atmosphere at the hostel. Even we stayed longer and you know how sometime you just wanna go home! Aside from his entertainer-social skills, he is madly organised and professional, someone should just give him a hostel to run it!!! Thank you Mr. Awesome for everything! Since the first moment I walked in this place has shown me nothing but love. A place where you can literally call home. Every challenge we've had here we faced as a family and we did overcome successfully. Dino, thank you for being so open and always finding a way to fix things. Thank you for your kindness, for the love you put in everyday, for treating us like real family and for understanding what volunteering means! Ricardo is an absolute pleasure to have as a member of our team, and in fact, our business would not be the same if Ricardo were not part of our team. Ricardo is reliable, honest, trustworthy, innovative, and precise as a team member. More than that though, Ricardo provides excellent customer service to our guests and customers both on duty and off duty, going above and beyond when he interacts with guests. I truly believe that his efforts here are one of the reasons that our hostel is often rated with very high reviews for customer service, atmosphere, and why our team loves to work here.

Avid traveler and passionate about people and food!
I graduated High School in Brazil and I studied engineering for a while. Later, I went to Berlin, Germany for the first time and a friend of mine introduced me to international Relations which I was completely fascinated by! When I went back to Brazil, I quit engineering and started International Relations/Business. After my first semester I embarked on my first exchange. This time to Portugal, where I studied for another semester.
I have worked for an IT company for about 5 years where I started as a computer technician and ended my contract with them as a General Manager. The sales department was my main area and I loved it. When abroad, I have volunteered in many different organizations involving kids, adults, and people with disabilities, homeless shelters, animal shelters, farming, baby sitting and I have heaps of experience in the Hospitality industry.
Traveling has always been my passion! I started traveling when I was 18 and at 25 I have not stopped. Throughout the years I managed to visit 61 countries across the globe. I have lived in Argentina for 4 months; in Canada for 6 months; in the USA for 20 months; Iceland for 3 months; Turkey for 3 months; Bosnia for 2 months; UK for 7 months and Austria for a whole year!
