Ich bin unglaublich dankbar für die Wochen, die ich bei Carmelo, Liliane und Lorenzo verbracht habe. Sie haben mich in alles einbezogen, was mich wie ein Familienmitglied fühlen ließ, aber es gab mir auch die Chance, wirklich wie ein Einheimischer zu leben: Ich konnte so viel erstaunliches Essen genießen, charmante Kleinstädte besuchen und sogar ein wenig Italienisch lernen. Alles in allem waren es fantastische Wochen mit liebenswerten Menschen. Vielen Dank!

Anais war eine wunderbare Freiwillige im Shauri Glamping. Fröhlich und immer lächelnd wurde sie wirklich Teil unserer Familie. Sie führte Wartungs- und Malerarbeiten mit Sorgfalt aus und half sehr bei der Gästebetreuung und der Einrichtung der Zimmer. Sie liebt Kaffee und zuckerfreie Bonbons, und schloss sich uns oft auf dem Sofa an, um Sudoku oder Brettspiele zu spielen, wodurch unser Nachmittag entspannt und spaßig wurde. Wir würden sie jedem Gastgeber herzlich empfehlen!

This was my first volunteering experience and it couldn't have been better. Carmelo, Liliana and Lorenzo were so welcoming and made me feel at home right away. They were always kind and flexible, helping me with rides when I needed and teaching me new things, especially in the kitchen. the camping site is stunning, surrounded by nature and the perfect place to relax and enjoy Sicily. I'm very grateful for my time here and would definitely recommend this place to anyone considering volunteering.

I'm soo thankful for the time I had at the camping! Carmelo, Liliana and Lorenzo feel like a second family and teached me so much (I will definitely make pasta alla norma and tiramisu again ;) I really enjoyed my time there and I will definitely come back! :) Grazie mille per il tempo meraviglioso!

I had the most incredible month staying at the camping with Carmelo, Lilliana and Lorenzo. The experience was so enjoyable, a beautiful place to enjoy nature, and learn about local Sicilian culture. I am so grateful for my Italian family for welcoming me into their home — it was sad to leave but it was a “see you soon!” I will be back for sure! First experience as a world packer.. I enjoyed it a lot, helping Carmelo for a couple of hours in the morning, then having a delicious lunch, and after that I had the whole day to go out and explore or just relax and enjoy nature , they were all very nice, and I felt comfortable at their place. I tried delicious and authentic Italian food, my favorite meal was Pasta a la Norma, I also loved homemade gelato. I felt like part of the family. I absolutely loved the experience!
