Volunteers 2 Uganda Home Stay
Ein Freiwilliger sollte unseren Ort wählen, weil wir seit 2010 diese Arbeit der Aufnahme von Freiwilligen betreiben und mehr als 3000 Freiwillige aufgenommen haben. Wir haben die Erfahrung, und vor allem haben wir großartige Projekte, in denen wir all unsere Freiwilligen platzieren.
Ich habe Volunteers 2 Uganda im Jahr 2010 gegründet; heute haben wir ein großartiges Team, das die Freiwilligen willkommen heißt und sie gastfreundlich aufnimmt. Freiwillige sollten erwarten, eine weitere Familie fern von ihrem Herkunftsort zu finden.

I spent three weeks volunteering at Christals Children Center. The children were full of joy, and the experience was truly heartwarming and eye-opening. Communication with the local staff was sometimes challenging due to the language barrier as they didnt speak english(although with signs and some words it is possible ;)). This experience taught me so much and really made me realize the hard life some kids have to go through. David was always ready to help me with everything I needed and his family really made me feel at home.Iwould recommend it to anyone looking to volunteer with purpose.

Wir schätzen Ihre Freundlichkeit gegenüber den Kindern sehr und nehmen das keineswegs auf die leichte Schulter. Sie werden sowohl von Ihrem Gastfamilienaufenthalt als auch vom Zentrum sehr vermisst werden.

I truly enjoyed my the organization, David and his family are very kind, welcoming and helpful. Mim's cooking is absolutely exquisite and Brian the driver became a good friend. I was totally immersed into Ugandan culture and it was such an interesting experience !

My experience with the organization was incredible. It was wonderful to be with the children of the orphanage, they welcomed me with much affection and eager to learn and receive love. I feel happy to have been able to give them all my love and attention, and to have been able to be part of their lives, even if it was only for a few days. At David's house they welcomed me with love and were attentive to me at all times, thank you all for treating me so well. Special thanks to David for being so attentive to me and it possible for me to live this experience to the fullest, and for trusting me. Thx

This was my first experience and I kept my expactations low. David Kibalama met me at the Entebbe Airport and he was kind. He take to his house which was a homestay and I have met his 4 lovely children and the organization auinties living there. Everybody kind and nice. Next day he left to the center and told me caretakers speak and understand English. But no. At the center 21 children are living (youngest 18 months old, oldest 12 years old). I could not communicate with caretakers, the organization girls helped me. No orientation, no guiding. I was left alone. I tried to contact David but no respond for 6 days.

It was so fun , I really felt so welcomed and respected , I loved my host family and how they let me feel at home, I loved being with the kids and help them how I could and would recommend it to everybody, Bryan (the driver) is super nice and David makes you feel really welcome at his home. It was really short but made me open my eyes for everything I have.
