Halina & Phil were very welcoming, patient, knowledgeable and really chill! I loved learning about beekeeping, helping with the bees, feeding the animals and working on projects around the property. The work was varied and I learnt something new every day! The property was beautiful and peaceful, and I loved the dogs, also got to go for movie night with people in town. They were very accommodating and always made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. Also the food was always so great! I recommend staying here for a peaceful farm experience, new skills and hands-on time in nature.

Halina and Phil were the chillest, sweetest and hardworking hosts :”) i've learned heaps of stuffs from them regarding permaculture, regenerative farming & i found my perspective towards nature really shifting after volunteering at their farm. They were very accommodating as well, we could let them know where we wanted to go and they would take us out on trips to the national park, town etc! they were flexible about the working hours and off days too! I miss their cooking so much they cook the most amazing food :))))) Overall they looked out a lot for us and i am grateful. God bless them

Loved this exchange, learnt a lot about establishing the foundation of a new permaculture farm. Halina and Phil took us out on hikes, visits to nearby towns, yoga, and cooks up amazing food! We had much flexibility in choosing the tasks we wanted to do and the farm is in an absolutely beautiful location, would absolutely recommend this to anyone who want's to experience off grid living and working hands on in nature.

Halina and Phil are absolutely welcoming. I helped feeding the animals, setting up fences, making bees products, cutting woods. They are really accommodating and I could choose the tasks I wanted to help with.

I loved the quiet environment surrounded by nature. Our hosts were welcoming and flexible and left us very autonomous. The cat and dogs were lovely company :)

Halina and Phil are both kind-hearted. If there is anything they can help you with, they will. They give you a lot of autonomy once they've taught you the work. The work was interesting, especially concerning the honey-related tasks, and very flexible. The property is surrounded by beautiful nature and is very quiet. It's a nice break from the city. Cooking and cleaning was a rotating task depending on the day, allowing us to share our food culture with them and vice versa. Halina and Phil cook comforting food with a lot of veggies and it was super tasty! Thank you for hosting us!
