Sona und Festim waren unglaublich herzlich. Sie sind während deiner Schicht jederzeit erreichbar, falls du sie per Textnachricht brauchst. Sona bereitet jeden Tag ein kostenloses Frühstück zu, was unglaublich süß ist. Normalerweise arbeitet ein Freiwilliger von 12 bis 5 Uhr morgens oder von 19 Uhr bis Mitternacht. Wenn du nachts arbeitest, führst du späte Check-ins durch und bist an der Bar tätig. Wenn du tagsüber arbeitest, könntest du etwas Wäsche waschen und hauptsächlich Check-ins erledigen. Insgesamt ist dies eine großartige Erfahrung, um langsamer zu werden und einen neuen Ort zu erkunden!

Der Ort ist großartig für Freiwilligenarbeit, Festim und seine Frau sind super freundlich und flexibel, die Umgebung fühlt sich an wie zu Hause, ich habe mich dort sehr wohl gefühlt.

Recomiendo 100% esta experiencia, Festim y Sonila me hicieron sentir como en casa desde el primer dia, gente super amable y comprensiva, que realmente disfruta de compartir con las personas y ayudarlas. Los horarios y las tareas son super fáciles, y tienes mucho tiempo libre para conocer la ciudad y otros lugares. Vine como voluntaria y me voy sintiendome parte de la familia :) Los quiero mucho, gracias por todo!

I would definitely recommend volunteering for the hostel, this was my first time volunteering and Festim was a very good host, the tasks where simple and the hostel is in a great location so you can keep busy on your time off

Die Herberge ist sehr gut gelegen, gemütlich und die Leute sind herzlich. Festim war sehr hilfsbereit und respektvoll. Die Arbeit war einfach und direkt. Ich hatte keinerlei Probleme, alles war in Ordnung und es war eine gute Erfahrung. Ich würde sagen, der Ort braucht ein wenig Aufmerksamkeit in Bezug auf die Struktur, aber eine einfache revonating Arbeit würde ausreichen, damit er glänzt.
Insgesamt war es eine großartige Erfahrung, ich fühlte mich wie zu Hause.

The job description was helping with the kitchen, reception and bar but que first task of the volunteer was clean the basement that was full of mud, dust, spiders and insects, it was a mess and a horrible place to clean, so when I refused to do this the host fired me of the job. I think he could just follow what he said on the job description and not put me to do that kind of job

Festim and his lovely family are super welcoming and they give the best recommendations to get around the city! The hostel it's located in a great area, close to the beach, restaurants and markets! The evenings in the bar are great for connecting with other travellers from all over the world .. and they have the best raki in town! It's a bit more than 25hs of work but the job is very easy. It's great if you need a time to chill from your hectic travels, do some work online , read or just enjoy of some “me time”. Thank you! And definitely coming to visit next time I come back !

I had a great time at the hostel! It was myself and another volunteer and we rotated shifts each day. The agreed upon hours were respected and Festim was always super flexible with the days off.

There is absolutely nothing bad to say about the hostel! I had an incredible time volunteering and would recommend this to everyone! The owners Festim and Sonila are incredible, welcoming, helpful and great to be around!This hostel is perfect for those who still want to socialise and have fun while volunteering but escape the party scene! You are the only volunteer, and work 4-5 hours a day while the owners are out and you are mainly checking in people and helping out guests! It is a cozy hostel with 28 people so you want be stressed or overwhelmed by anything! 10/10 experience!
