🌵 Program Description

At Hotel Tantakuy Eco Experience, we believe hospitality is about creating meaningful moments that guests will remember long after they leave.

Located in the heart of Chile's hidden Atacama Desert, our boutique eco hotel is surrounded by ancient geoglyphs, oasis villages, UNESCO World Heritage sites, breathtaking landscapes, and some of the clearest night skies on Earth.

As a Guest Experience & Content Creator, you'll become part of our team by welcoming travelers from around the world, supporting our reception and daily operations, and helping us tell the story of Tantakuy through authentic photos, videos, and social media content.

Beyond your daily tasks, you'll have the opportunity to experience the magic of northern Chile. Explore the oasis of Pica, the historic saltpeter towns of Humberstone and Santa Laura, the beaches of Iquique, giant sand dunes, hidden canyons, Andean villages, and unforgettable stargazing under the Milky Way.

This is more than a volunteering opportunity—it's a chance to develop professional skills in hospitality, tourism, and digital content creation while living in one of South America's most extraordinary desert destinations.

Aktivitäten & Schichten

🛎️ Reception & Guest Experience

5 hours per day

Help welcome guests, assist with check-ins and check-outs, answer questions, provide local recommendations, and support daily reception tasks. Your goal is to create a warm, friendly, and memorable experience for every traveler.

📸 Content Creation

Included within your daily shift

Capture authentic photos and videos of the hotel, gastronomy, wellness experiences, and the surrounding desert. Create Reels, Stories, TikToks, and other content to inspire future guests. Creativity and fresh ideas are always welcome.

📋 Daily Operations

Included within your daily shift

Support simple administrative tasks, keep reception organized, update guest information, and help the team ensure smooth daily operations.

🌙 Flexible Schedule
5 hours per day
5 days per week
2 consecutive days off
Morning or afternoon shifts depending on hotel operations.
Occasionally, you may support special events or evening experiences such as stargazing sessions, campfires, or cultural activities.

Always treat our guests, team members, and fellow volunteers with kindness, respect, and professionalism.
Be punctual and committed to your agreed schedule.
Wear clean and appropriate clothing while on shift.
Keep shared accommodation and common areas clean and organized.
Respect the privacy of our guests—always ask permission before taking photos or videos that include them.
Alcohol and drugs are strictly prohibited during working hours.
Maintain a quiet environment after 9:00 PM to ensure all guests can enjoy a peaceful stay.
Inform the team as early as possible if you are feeling unwell or unable to work.
Follow our sustainability practices by helping reduce waste, save water, and care for the natural environment.
Be open to learning, sharing ideas, and contributing positively to our international community.
