I had a wonderful experience with the Center 'family'. The setting is stunning and the whole team are a genuine, open and caring group of people. Volunteers are included and respected and made to feel an essential part of the operation. When guests were on site we had a super organised rota which allowed us to support all aspects of the operation and plan ahead for our own time off, taking part in the yoga and meditation classes where the rota allowed. A large part of volunteer work is cooking vegan food for the staff which I really enjoyed as it tested my imagination ;)

Coming to the Center was the best decision of my life! The people here are wonderful and make you feel apart of the family immediately, the work is enjoyable and the place it's self and the energy it carry's is absolutely beautiful! I would recommend this place to any spiritually conscious person that wants to learn and grow more, you won't regret it! Thank you MV and see you soon ❤️

One of the best experiences of my life so far! I could spend hours talking about this beautiful place and all the beautiful human being I met, but I think the proper way to really and deeply understand what can be experienced there is just going and staying there. If you are looking for something that allows you to remember to come home into yourself and your inner wisdom and at the same time to be truly inspired and enlighten by all the bright and vibrant souls who are living there or nearby, the Center is the place to be.

I am so grateful I had the chance to volunteer at the Center with an amazing team of such interesting people. I was able to explore the Algarve when I had my 2 days off and the team was so inclusive that I had the chance to participate to the meditations and yoga sessions offered by the holistic center. It helped me to find my balance since I had the opportunity to rest in that peaceful and beautiful working environement. When I was working, I had to help with the garden, housekeeping and cook vegan food with the vegetables available from the garden. Good energy, best experience ever

The best experience in the Center, good vibes, a beautiful place, quiet and connected to nature with a staff of wonderful people always worried if you are ok or need help. Together with the two volunteers we feel at home and part of the community. The work is well organized and on your days off you can get to know more of the surroundings, and also practice yoga, meditation and dance (I loved this class) I can only thank all especially Rich(Kurt) for sharing your wisdom and laughter, I hope come back soon. I wish them all the best. I miss them already.

Loved my stay at the Center, a beautiful place surrounded by nature and an amazing staff ❤ The only thing for me was that when the guests are here you don't have the same days-off and schedule than the others volunteers so can't really hang out with them... I learned a lot, food was amazing, the work was nice and you can come to the yoga and meditation class where the teachers are always ready to teach us things and answer your questions ! Recommend the experience ☺

Hallo Lyne, vielen Dank für dein Feedback. Es war mir eine absolute Freude, dich bei uns zu haben! Nochmals vielen Dank für deine harte Arbeit und deine gute Gesellschaft! Ich wollte nur etwas zu deinem Punkt hinzufügen, dass du nicht die gleiche Freizeit hast wie die anderen Freiwilligen, nur um es für andere potenzielle Freiwillige ein wenig auszugleichen! Also ja, es kommt oft vor, dass, während die Gäste hier sind, ihr alle eure individuellen Schichten und unterschiedliche freie Tage habt, aber wenn die Gäste nicht da sind (was in der letzten Woche deines Aufenthalts der Fall war), habt ihr alle zur gleichen Zeit gearbeitet und hattet gemeinsam freie Tage, einschließlich des letzten Wochenendes. Generell versuche ich immer, Freiwillige einige Tage vor Beginn eines Retreats zu beginnen und einige Tage danach zu gehen, damit wir alle Zeit miteinander als Gruppe und Gemeinschaft verbringen können, aber leider war das bei dir nicht möglich, da du ein Ersatz auf den letzten Drücker warst, was bedeutet hat, dass du während eines Retreats angekommen bist statt davor! It's an incredible place! Surrounded by nature and tranquility. It's a perfect place to connect with yourself and align with spirituality if that's what you are looking for. The staff is always well disposed and everyone is very friendly. Especially Karen and Ivan are lovely people and always make you laugh! It is important to know that it is far from the city so keep this in mind when choosing to stay there. Know how to drive a manual car or pay for a car to be able to move around because it is really far away. I had a nice experience! Very thankful for my time with them :)

Hallo Sofia, es war schön, dich bei uns zu haben, und danke für deine sehr freundlichen Worte über uns! Für zukünftige potenzielle Freiwillige möchte ich nur etwas Kontext geben, wie weit wir von Lagos entfernt sind, da dies aus deiner Bewertung etwas offen interpretiert werden kann! Wir sind etwa 15 Minuten mit dem Auto von Lagos entfernt (14 km) und es gibt Busse, die früh am Morgen abfahren, ungefähr um 07:30, der letzte kehrt gegen 18:30 zurück, sie sind jedoch nicht sehr häufig. Du musst allerdings ca. 40 Minuten zu Fuß gehen, um zur Bushaltestelle zu gelangen, oder wir haben ein Fahrrad, das zur Haltestelle gebracht werden kann, oder einige Freiwillige nutzen das Fahrrad, um nach Lagos zu fahren. An den meisten Tagen fährt irgendwann jemand vom Gelände in die Stadt, daher ist es oft möglich, dort mitzufahren (und manchmal auch zurück, obwohl wir keine Mitfahrgelegenheiten garantieren können, und es ist normalerweise einfacher, dorthin zu kommen als zurück). Und jeder, der später draußen bleiben möchte, nimmt in der Regel ein Uber, um zurückzufahren, insbesondere wenn es eine Gruppe gibt, oder macht eine Reise von einigen Tagen an freien Tagen und bleibt draußen. Allerdings denke ich, dass der Hauptpunkt ist, dass unser Retreat definitiv zu Leuten passt, die motiviert und damit einverstanden sind, Zeit in der Natur zu verbringen und mit der Gemeinschaft abzuhängen; es ist schwierig, wenn man sehr oft in die Stadt gehen möchte, da wir dafür nicht wirklich ausgelegt sind. Such an amazing place to be at, and the people are extremely welcoming and we (volunteers) immediately felt at home and part of their community which is more like a big family. During the stay everybody was very helpful, we had an amazing time, we could participate in many activities. This is a place for spiritual, conscious people, who love to engage in meaningful conversations, healthy living and surrounding themselves with nature. I would come back at any time!
