I would really appreciate your help with: building a Timbela M102 wooden garage, c. 4Ă—10m. First we need a 30cm-deep, 20cm-wide trench, then cement poured by hand (no mixer). Foundation blocks, flooring (none included) and insulation will be decided together. The kit is painted twice, but now lies like Mikado (see photos). It may be built higher or wider. I seek someone who loves a challenge, ideally with proven building experience.

We are a family of three living on a finca in northern Spain, located between Caspe and Maella in the province of Zaragoza (AragĂłn).

In 2021, I bought this finca, including a masia (farmhouse), driven by the idea of building a more self-sufficient and sustainable lifestyle.

I started this journey with some local help, but after a few years I realised I could use additional support. With no prior experience, transitioning into this way of life has been an adventure I don’t regret. At the same time, it has shown me both my strengths and the areas where I need help.

That’s where you come in.

For this specific poition I would really appreciate your help with building a wooden garage for my finca.

Aktivitäten & Schichten

Depending on the weather, I expect you to work around 5 hours a day, 5 days a week.

We will discuss together what days and/or time of day, depending on the conditions.

Regeln

You’ll be part of our family and live under our roof, so I’d like us to share our meals together, when it fits our schedules.

Our house is small but hopefully cosy enough. You may have a private room, but sometimes you might need to share it or be flexible. I hope that’s okay with you.

We have four cats and two friendly large dogs, so please make sure you’re not allergic.

Smoking is not allowed in the house.

I’ve prepared a simple manual for life on the finca, which I’ll ask you to read upon arrival. If anything is unclear, feel free to ask questions — I’m open to suggestions. However, I do expect you to follow these guidelines. If not, I may need to shorten your stay.
