. . . the farm is a great place to relax and to be in touch with nature ! . . . The property is in a rural and quiet area and it is a place for you to learn about growing olives and fruits .... Lisette is a kind, caring and considerate and open host and I am happy for all the interesting conversations we had. Thank you Lisette for having me there and letting me be part of the family, hehe !

My first experience with Worldpackers, and a very strong one at that. During my stay, I helped out around the house mainly focusing on painting. Since I came during off-season I didn't do any harvesting, though I did get the opportunity to try Lisette's delicious olive oil. Some fond memories include meeting the neighbors, visiting town, hiking, walking her lovely dogs, swimming in a local river with the boys, and watching World Cup matches. There can be conflict amongst family members, but Lisette and her children made me feel extremely welcome in their home from day one. Highly recommended!

I had a good time on the finca. Lisette was very flexible with the work schedule had some interesting conversations with her about life and she was very open and welcoming when I was there. Would like to go back when I get the chance.

Had a great 2 weeks here with Lisette and her two boys. She always made sure we had lots to eat and wanted us to be comfortable. Her finca is a distance from the nearest town, as she mentions, but I always felt occupied. Either talking with her and her kids, doing outside work, walking through the property, or reading. Her 2 big dogs and 4 cats also kept me and the other volunteer company during our stay. Additionally Lisette invited us to participate in the big community cooking contest in the nearby town, which was great to be apart of a local tradition. Overall a nice and interesting time!

It was a wonderful experience, full of laughter, good conversations, and delicious meals! The Caspe region is beautiful, the work schedule is very flexible, and I would definitely return another time.

This was my first Worldpackers experience, and it was absolutely amazing. I felt welcomed from day one and was truly treated like part of the family. Lisette always made sure I was comfortable and that everything was going well. I felt appreciated, and was very well taken care of. I'm so grateful for this experience and would highly recommend it if you want to get a little away from city life, and reconnect with nature. I will always remember my time at the finca, and the time spent with Lisette and the Boys.

I had a great stay with Lisette. She is a warm, welcoming host and we shared many conversations. The work was fair & rewarding. I learned how to prune olive & almond trees-a new experience for me. On my days off she showed me around the area and introduced me to her friends and involved me in community events. At times, the atmosphere was uncomfortable due to family conflict with her teenage sons, but Lisette did her best to manage this. Also, sharing space with an older woman is hard on teenagers. Overall, I had a positive experience & recommend it if you wish to spend time in rural Spain

Thanks for your honest review! Living with 2 teenagers is not always easy, at least not in our household. Despite that, I do my best to make every volunteer feel welcome and well taken care of. I genuinely hope you felt that too, alongside the local experiences, conversations and time we shared together. 😊

The experience was a bit like living with a host family. I helped picking almonds in the morning and had the afternoon free. The region is very rural and has a lot of agriculture. There's not much that you can do there, which you should just be aware of. You might be able to visit a city nearby but that understandably depends on the family's schedule. Rafael and Mateo are nice and very open but do argue with each other and their mother like teenagers do. I am vegan and therefore helped quite a lot in the kitchen, as agreed upon before, and Lisette definitely was open for that.

This was my first volunteering experience and Lisette and her childreen made me feel welcome from the very beginning. The work was flexible and easy to manage – I mostly helped with the almond harvest – and Lisette is very fair with the hours, leaving plenty of free time to relax. The finca is off-grid and surrounded by beautiful nature, which makes it very peaceful, and Lisette even took the time to show me some of the nearby cities, which I really enjoyed. I'd recommend this experience to anyone who wants to help out with flexible tasks while enjoying family life and being close to nature.
