We need one proactive Social Host to bring guests together and organize daily Linkups, games, tours and social activities. You’ll connect with guests at breakfast, help form groups, manage activity interest and create a fun atmosphere. We need someone independent who takes initiative without daily reminders. 5–6 hours/day, 1 day off weekly. Private room, private bathroom, Wi-Fi and breakfast included. Minimum 3 weeks, maximum 8 weeks.

Kunst: Hilfe beim Malen, Graffiti, Bildhauerei oder Zeichnen.

Sportunterricht: Unterrichten oder Unterstützen des Hosts, der Gäste oder lokaler Gemeinschaften beim Sport oder körperlichen Aktivitäten.

Reiseführer: Organisation und Führung von Touren durch die Stadt.

Party-Promoter: Hilfe bei der Organisation und Promotion von Partys und sozialen Aktivitäten.

Programmdetails

Our volunteer program is focused on creating a friendly, social and memorable hostel experience. Volunteers help connect travellers, organize daily Linkups, activities and social evenings, and encourage guests to explore Ella together. We provide guidance, accommodation and breakfast while giving volunteers the opportunity to learn, meet travellers from around the world and become part of our family. We are rebuilding our social atmosphere and need someone proactive who wants to make a real contribution.

* Connect with guests during breakfast
* Introduce daily Linkups and activities
* Help guests form groups for tours and hikes
* Organize pool, carom and UNO games
* Help with movie, karaoke, pizza and family dinner nights
* Join and support sunset/social activities
* Help create photos and short videos
* Encourage solo travellers to connect and participate

### Shifts

Approximately **5–6 hours per day, 6 days per week**, with **1 full day off**.

The schedule is flexible depending on guest numbers and daily activities. The volunteer should be available during agreed working hours, especially during breakfast and planned social activities.

We will guide you during the first days and teach you how everything works. After learning the system, we expect you to take initiative and work independently without needing daily reminders.

### Volunteer Rules

* Be punctual and available during your agreed working hours.
* Take responsibility and complete your agreed tasks without needing daily reminders.
* Be proactive with guests and activities.
* Communicate with the team if you have any problem or cannot attend your shift.
* Respect all guests, staff and other volunteers.
* Keep your private room and bathroom clean and tidy.
* Do your own laundry.
* Follow hostel safety and house rules.
* Do not leave the hostel during working hours without informing the team.
* Personal time and your weekly day off are your own.
* Do not collect guest payments or make financial arrangements unless authorized by reception.
* Do not promise guests prices, tours or services without checking with reception.
* Take care of hostel property and report any damage immediately.
* Maintain a positive, friendly and professional attitude with guests.
* We will guide you and support you, but after training we expect you to work independently and take initiative.
