Ich habe es wirklich geliebt, Englisch mit den Kindern zu unterrichten! Sie waren alle so süß, witzig, energiegeladen und voller Persönlichkeit. Ich hatte so viel Spaß dabei, mit ihnen Spiele zu spielen, ihnen beim Englischlernen zu helfen und jeden von ihnen kennenzulernen. Es war eine so lohnende Erfahrung, und ich bin wirklich dankbar, die Gelegenheit gehabt zu haben, Zeit mit ihnen zu verbringen. Ich werde sie definitiv vermissen! ❤️

Ich habe es geliebt, Teil dieses Freiwilligenprogramms zu sein. Die Möglichkeit, mit den Kindern zusammenzuleben, ihnen Unterricht zu geben und Momente mit ihnen zu teilen, war etwas ganz Besonderes für mich. Sie sind super süß und machen das Erlebnis wirklich noch schöner.
Der Ort ist unglaublich: Mitten im Dschungel, umgeben von Natur und mit viel Ruhe. Obwohl er etwas abgelegen ist, ist er perfekt, um abzuschalten und die Umgebung zu genießen.
Außerdem habe ich die Flexibilität, die sie mir bei meinen Arbeitszeiten und meiner Fernarbeit geboten haben, sehr geschätzt! Außerdem haben wir Cenoten, den Strand und andere Orte besucht, die ich sehr gerne kennenlernen durfte!!

Eine der besten Erfahrungen als Freiwillige und in meinem Leben. Es ist eine sehr liebevolle Familie; sie waren flexibel mit meinen Zeitplänen und mit denen des Freiwilligenprogramms. Das Haus ist ein Zuhause im Dschungel, fern von der Stadt, und es ist dazu da, ruhig zu sein; in meinem Fall suchte ich genau das, also habe ich es genossen. Es ist ein Lebensstil, an den man sich anpassen muss. Ich habe viel mit den Kindern gelacht; wir haben ein super schönes und kreatives Projekt gemacht. Und vor allem nehme ich viel Liebe mit. Ich liebe euch alle sehr und vermisse euch, Kleinen. Danke für alles, was ihr mir gegeben habt!!

Fue una experiencia muy bonita. Me gustó mucho convivir con los niños y enseñarles un poco de lo que sé. Fue mi primer voluntariado y estoy segura que es una experiencia única, es necesario considerar que enseñar a niños de 7- 10 años tiene sus retos entonces es necesaria mucha paciencia y amor. Asimismo es importante tener iniciativa y adaptarse a distintas situaciones.

I had such heartwarming the home days with Eva's family. From the very first day, they welcomed me warmly and always treated me like a true member of their family. They cooked healthy and delicious meals every day and even took me to beautiful cenotes. Thanks to them, I was able to truly experience what it's like to live in Playa del Carmen. The kids are full of energy and endlessly curious about everything. Since they're young, it's best to engage with them in creative ways that catch their attention—like games, songs, drawing, and so on. I highly recommend this volunteering!

I had a good time staying with Eva's family, but we also had our challenges. I think it's really helpful if you speak at least a little Spanish to integrate better into the family and make the experience easier for yourself. It's also a plus if you have teaching experience, though this was sometimes tricky. They are very flexible with schedules, and the kids are really sweet, which is a bonus. For the best experience, I think it's good to stay for at least three months to build a strong connection.

Hooooli 💗 Definitivamente unos excelentes host. Fueron flexibles con mis tiempos, me llevaron a algunos cenotes, playas y cumples. Es importante decir que vas a recibir tanto como des y no olvides que vas a cuidar y enseñar a niños de 6, 7 y 9 años entonces se necesita compromiso, paciencia y cariño con ellos, también, como vas a estar compartiendo casa hay tareas de limpieza común como lavar los trastes después de cada comida. I was 4 months with them and enjoyed a lot, is a job and mutual reward, you get as much as you give. Don't forget to have commitment, patience and love for carin

My stay with the family was sooo great!! They were so welcoming since the day they picked me up at the ADO station. They took me out to some cenotes, beaches, they showed me the parks around. All you have to do is to be creative and to the home their children what you know! Everyday, Eva was helping me with the program that I should the home the kids. They have so much things to help you, as memory cards, games, arts, etc. They are also very flexible in time, I went away sooner than I was supposed to, but Eva was so understanding and I really felt at home! The kids are lovely and I am so grateful :)

I felt instantly welcomed into the family, and was eased into the experience getting to know the house and kids. They are flexible with the hours you want to work. I usually did the lessons in the mornings at the park but sometimes it was in the afternoons, or long excursions to the cenote or beach. I had the weekends free to explore the area. There are lots of games and toys to use for the lessons, and the meals are nutritious and delicious. Be prepared to handle the heat, I recommend a hammock to sleep in! The kids are absolutely lovely and full of energy so stay focused and organized!

La experiencia en la casa, fue muy buena, las tareas eran simples, había que enseñar a los niños que se educan en casa, por lo general era en las mañanas, lo cual te dejaba la tarde libre para disfrutar de la playa. La familia siempre fue respetuosa conmigo, compartí habitación con las niñas , ellos comen muy saludable, así que si tienes gustos muy especiales ten en cuenta que quizás debas comprar tu propia comida y cocinarte tu mismo, además los días libres no te proporcionan las comidas. Playa del Carmen es un lugar hermoso y disfrute mucho mi estadía.
