I had the best time at the home! I've never gardened before, but Faye was clear in her instructions and answered questions well. I definitely enjoyed the work–both challenging and rewarding. Everyone there was so nice, and I felt very welcomed. Definitely recommend this place if you want to meet lots of cool people, do hands on work, and connect with beautiful natural surroundings. The room I stayed in was nice and clean too. Thank you so much for a great first experience!

Faye is great at communicating the work itself and you're allowed freedom in how you structure your own work. It's really rewarding as you work as the home is beautiful and the accomodation/food provided is fantastic. I'd recommend this experience highly :)

I was welcomed from the second I arrived. Faye and her family are extremely welcoming , generous and personable. The property is beautiful as well! I worked gardening for a week and my tasks were well explained and I felt I could ask as many questions as needed. I was able to practice my french by going into town to local shops and bars. A very positive first world packers experience, I would recommend!

I had an amazing time at the home! Faye was super welcoming! The shared dinners were very tasty and the house is so beautiful! The rooms are all lovely and comfortable. You are aloud to schedule the work as you want which I really appreciated. Faye gives you space, but is there to help whenever you ask her. I highly recommend this place!

I can only recommend to volunteer at the home!! Faye and her family are incredibly welcoming people. The house is always full of people from all around the world and it feels like a big family. the home itself is so beautiful and has a lot of charm. You have a lot of freedom in your work and the communication about your tasks is structured and clear. This place is the rural paradise <3

This was my first experience as a Worldpacker and I'm very glad I chose to go to the home. As a Superhost, Faye knows how to look after her volunteers and make them feel welcome. Communication prior to my arrival and during my stay was clear and I appreciated the trust the host placed in me. Looking after Faye's lovely dog was great - he's very low maintenance and I enjoyed getting out and about with him in the countryside around the home. Overall, a very relaxing and pleasant stay. I would recommend this opportunity to anyone seeking a chilled but rewarding time in rural France.

Faye is organized and a personalized list of tasks is given at the start of your stay. The outdoor work can be labor intensive and asking for a quick demo prior to starting may be helpful. However, Faye does her best to make sure the volunteers are well taken care of. She prepared thoughtful meals and the communal, family style dinners were a lovely way to connect with her family as well as the other volunteers at the end of each day. Overall, a pleasant experience nestled in the Landes countryside. Thank you Faye for opening up your home to us and creating a welcoming space.

I had a wonderful stay at the home. Faye and her family were so welcoming and kind, tasks were communicated well, easy to follow and enjoyable, and I had lots of time to explore the neighbourhood and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The family dinners were also lovely and I really enjoyed my time with the other volunteers as well.
