Die Familie des Oasis Hostels zu treffen war eine großartige Erfahrung, an die ich mich immer erinnern werde. Vielen Dank für alles und sicher werde ich zurückkommen. Ich habe viel über die lokale Kultur gelernt und hatte das Glück, während des Unabhängigkeitstages dort zu sein — das Feiern mit den Gastgebern war einer meiner liebsten Abende während meines gesamten Aufenthalts. Ich empfehle diesen Ort jedem, der sein Spanisch üben möchte, während er auf freundliche Menschen trifft!

Volunteering at the hostel was a really good first experience! The working hours were agreed upon first and the tasks were really easy. The host and family were welcoming and friendly, there was a great atmosphere!! The place is really nice and well organized. The only drawback I can think of is the lack of other volunteers (at least in my experience) which made the experience a bit lonelier! Based on the time of the year there could be less tourists, so it can be less work to do but also harder to find and meet new people!

The hostel was great, it was my first volunteering experience. I felt very safe in Puerto Vallarta and met the best people. They were very patient with me as I do not speak spanish. The tasks are easy and the days are lovely! It honestly felt like a fever dream the experience was amazing!

Ich habe beim Frühstück und an der Rezeption geholfen.
Während meines Aufenthalts hatte ich die Gelegenheit, sowohl Englisch als auch Spanisch zu sprechen, wobei etwa die Hälfte der Kunden Mexikaner war und die andere Hälfte aus den USA, Kanada und anderen Ländern kam.
Die Aufgaben waren wirklich einfach.

I wish I could recommend this place but I can't. If you want a calm, collaborative and fun environment to volunteer in. Do not come here. I came here during slow season, living accommodation was terrible. They put us in the hottest room in the hostel with no ventilation and no fan. It was so hot and humid in the room that my back pack molded over twice. Working with the manager was very taxing and honestly dangerous. She will blame you for the things she does not get done on her shift or other people's shift even though they have cameras to verify. Ultimately it became unsafe and I had to go.

El hostel fue un gran lugar para llevar a cabo mi primera experiencia de voluntariado. Me sentí respetado y como en familia. Las tareas y horas fueron las acordadas y se respetaban los horarios. A doña Orquí, Don Juan y Esme gracias por su apoyo y su amabilidad, me hicieron sentir en casa. Me llevo grandes y lindos recuerdos de este lugar que además me permitió socializar con otros huéspedes muy buena onda como Vicente y otros miembros de la familia que venían a visitar o vivían allí. Esta experiencia demás me permitió gozarme de Puerto Vallarta de una manera espectacular. GRACIAS!!!

Es un gran lugar para hacer voluntariado, si no hay mucha afluencia te permiten estar solo en una de las habitaciones. Son personas bastante cálidas y las responsabilidades son las justas, yo tuve que llegar dos días antes y me aceptaron sin problema. Tuve una experiencia muy gratificante y la pase excelente.

Este lugar es increíble si tú eres un Worldpacker que le gusta que le respeten su espacio, ya que en temporada baja no hay más Worldpackers y si te gustaría estar solo es perfecto, las tareas son sencillas, me hubiera gustado quedarme más pero tuve un inconveniente y fueron muy amables por dejarme ir, gracias por recibirme y la bonita experiencia que es eso. Aqui se alojan personas de todo el mundo y mejoras tu inglés, si quieres un lugar tranquilo, que no sea como el mero centro de ruidoso, aqui es perfecto. El desayuno es delicioso y ya viene el internet incluido.

Fue una grata experiencia, las personas del hostel te hacen sentir muy bienvenidx, previo a mi llegada tenía muchas cosas porque la comunicación quizá no fue tan efectiva pero estando allá, fue fantástico, muy amables, respetuosos y sin duda una de las mejores experiencias.

Conocí personas increíbles dentro del hostal, me sentí como en casa y me llevo vínculos valiosos. Cumplieron con las horas de trabajo y días de descanso tal y como lo ofrecen. Es un trabajo bastante sencillo y por los horarios me permití conocer vallarta tal y como lo planee.
