Eine erstaunliche Erfahrung. Wunderbare, dankbare und glückliche Kinder. Eine sehr gastfreundliche und hilfsbereite Gemeinschaft und Gastgeber. Viele Möglichkeiten, mehr über die lokale Kultur zu lernen und schöne Orte zu besuchen. Ich kann es nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Wir sind wirklich dankbar für die Zeit, die Freundlichkeit und den Enthusiasmus, den Sie mit unseren Kindern und unserer Gemeinschaft geteilt haben.
Es erfüllt uns mit großer Freude zu wissen, dass Sie Ihre Erfahrung genossen haben und sich von unserer Simoonga-Familie willkommen gefühlt haben. I had a wonderful time in the the school.It was a true window into life in a Zambian Village which would have been hard to find without this opportunity. The people, esp the kids are lovely and keen to share their life.You have flexibility with what you want to do in the but as a the school that requires ongoing help it is encouraged for you to take initiative.As a teacher I spent a lot of time in class but was also helping with online admin when possible.The stay is basic but cozy & safe and many of the kids will hang around for games &dinner after the school. Throw yourself into it & you'll learn so much.

Ich, Edwin, der Schulleiter, weiß nicht, wie ich dir danken kann für die Hilfe bei den administrativen Aufgaben; es war eine so erstaunliche Arbeit. Unsere Schule ist gemeinnützig und wird nicht von der Regierung unterstützt; die Spende, die du der Schule hinterlassen hast, hat die Bereiche, die wir brauchten, wirklich geholfen. Danke, dass du unsere Schule im Dorf unterstützt hast.

Eveything and everyone involved in our 3 month stay at the the school have made the experience undoubtedly worthwhile. From the staffs consideration with our proposals regarding teaching, drawing and other iniciatives to the energetic and loving children that form the the school. This experience maintains the african essence whilst staying in a protected and well prepared accomodation. Volunteering here for three months was truly life-changing. The accommodation was well-equipped and comfortable, with a cozy bedroom, mosquito net, outdoor shower and toilet, and our own kitchen and dining area. the the school staff were incredibly supportive, and many became good friends. But the true heart of our experience was the children — full of energy, kindness, and a passion for learning. We taught them maths, English, and technology, and spent time together after the school playing football and sharing daily life. the the school has become a second home to us and we can't wait to return.

We loved our time in Simonga, Edwin and all of the members of staff were very friendly and helpful making us feel right at home. All the children were amazing and very eager to learn. Edwin gave us a lot of freedom to do what we would like and he was very happy in anyway we could help. We taught grades 5,6,7 in maths English and science and also built a chicken coop. A lot of the children would stay back after the school and would all want to play games socialize with you. The accommodation was the best we've had while volunteering around Africa we had our own room and a separate area for cooking

Edwin and his team were amazing. Truly a great group of people! Very welcoming, super friendly and warm, and most of all genuine! You'll get your own room and kitchen plus a dedicated shower and toilet. They provided WiFi and as many comforts as possible. The room and kitchen are basic, BUT it is more than enough, especially at a non-profit organization like this. All our belongings were safe too, something that many looking at volunteer opportunities care about! As for the kids ❤️ they will fill your heart! Each one so special and amazing! So get your application in, you won't regret it!

Hallo Frankie, es war wirklich schön, mit dir zu bleiben, und ich freue mich über dein Engagement während deiner Zeit an unserer Schule. Als Schule haben wir wirklich von deinem Wissen und deiner Erfahrung profitiert, die wir nie erwartet hatten. Wir schätzen demütig das Wissen, das wir von dir erhalten haben, und wir werden es auch mit unserer Gemeinschaft von Simoonga teilen.
Wenn möglich, komm doch wieder zurück.

Una experiencia increible, la escuela esta cerca de Livingstone en un pueblito lleno de gente muy buena y con ganas de trabajar en comunidad. Desde mi punto de vista todos trabajan con los niños pero hace falta ayudar tambien al desarrollo profesional de los profesores y personal administrativo que ponen toda su actitud, yo tuve oportunidad de dar workshops y hacer un team building para los trabajadores de la escuela y estuvo muy bueno! todos aprendimos mucho! Los niños son un amor, la pase genial y la comida muy rica tambien. Edwin el dueño es una excelente persona y un gran amigo!!! GRACIAS
