Die Erfahrung in Bahía Blanca war schön. Der kulturelle Austausch war interessant, man spricht viel mit Einheimischen, die Englisch verbessern oder lernen möchten.
Wir konnten in verschiedenen Instituten vorbeischauen, während wir über unsere Reisen und Erfahrungen erklärten.
Die Leute wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und der 'Job' ist wirklich entspannt.
Es gibt nicht viel zu tun in Bahía Blanca, aber es ist eine hübsche Stadt mit vielen Parks und Bars.
Wir hatten die Gelegenheit, eine Wanderung namens Cerro Tres Picos zu machen. Während wir mit Studenten sprachen, bot einer von ihnen an, uns dorthin zu bringen, da wir kein Auto hatten und das 100 km von Bahía Blanca entfernt ist.

Die Zusammenarbeit mit Maria in ihren Englisch-Coachings-Kursen war unsere erste Erfahrung als Freiwillige bei worldpackers und ein perfekter Start für unsere Reise. Sie war warm und zuvorkommend, sie erkundigte sich während unseres Aufenthalts regelmäßig bei uns, um uns wohlzufühlen, sie schuf soziale Gelegenheiten, um neue Leute aus der Stadt kennenzulernen, und sie hatte eine großartige Lage, in der wir zwei Wochen bleiben konnten.
Es hat Spaß gemacht, einfach war es und etwas Neues für mich, diesen Kulturaustausch zu erleben, und ich würde es definitiv wieder tun. Danke, Maria!

Alles lief wunderbar reibungslos. Ich liebte es, Englisch auf unkonventionelle Weise zu unterrichten, es war auch eine Herausforderung für mich und es hat mich wirklich klargemacht, dass ich eine wirklich gute da really good English teacher wäre. Nichtsdestotrotz wurde mein Spanisch besser und ich hatte die Chance, sogar mein Italienisch zu üben. Die Unterkunft war unglaublich und 10-14 Tage sind die perfekte Zeit, um dort zu verbringen. Ich werde für immer dankbar sein, ehrlich❤️

I would highly recommend working with Sol and the school. We stayed here for a month and had an excellent stay. Sol was organized and accommodating, her students were extremely kind and inviting, and the city of Bahía Blanca was the perfect size for us. We practiced our Spanish with students and acquaintances outside of classes, and learned a ton about Argentinian culture. The work was fair and engaging. Bahía Blanca is a relatively small city, but it has many bars and cafes to try — and it is located close (100km) to a small mountain range and the beach. We loved to volunteer here!

We had a fantastic month in Bahia Blanca. It's a small city, pretty, and has everything you need, lots of cute cafes and restaurants. We led English conversation groups and went to English institutes to present to the students, which was a fantastic way to meet locals and learn about Argentine culture! Sol was very kind, welcoming, and communicative. I would say there was a lot of down time in the mornings because our classes were only in the evenings, so it's good if you can entertain yourself a bit. Loved my time in Bahia and the people I met!

This was my first Worldpackers experience and I could not have picked a better position. I absolutely loved working with Sol and leading classes -- all of the students were kind, accommodating, and invested. My host family, Valentina and Lili, provided me everything I needed and more. I was not just a visitor, but a part of the family! The city is small with few if any foreigners, so I was completely immersed in the culture. Sol and my host family always made the effort to involve me in their activities and I got a true feel for the city. Thank you Sol, Valentina, Lili and Mari <3

Aprendí mucho en mi paso por Bahía Blanca. Dar clases de conversación en inglés fue muy enriquecedor y divertido. Conocí a mucha gente local, intercambié experiencias e hice amigos. María Sol fue atenta y me ayudó en todo lo que necesitaba. Siempre se respetaron los horarios de trabajo acordados y con eso tuve tiempo de sobra para conocer la ciudad, que es muy tranquila y bonita. También me gustaría aprovechar esta oportunidad para expresar mi agradecimiento a Alejandro, quien fue un anfitrión de primer nivel. ¡Recomiendo esta experiencia a todos sin duda!

The experience in Bahía Blanca was truly special. My host was incredibly hospitable and made me feel at home, inviting me to do things with her friends and family often during my two weeks. the school is a cool program for adults and I made some great connections with the students. If you are looking for immersion into Argentine culture, this is a great opportunity. The city is quiet and calm and not touristy at all. I loved my time here and was sad to leave when the time came.

Difficult to express how good this experience was. Sol is a nice lady and will make you feel at ease. You'll be host by one of her student which can be a great deal if your goal is to improve your Spanish or blend into the Argentinians culture. The students you'll be dealing with are mostly young adults with a strong willingness to learn

The school was a very lovely experience. I feel like I learned a lot about Argentinian culture from a different lens. Bahía Blanca is not a touristic place, so you get a different feel for Argentina. The hours were close to what was agreed on, with some last minute changes that were accomodated. the school was challenging in a positive way, and really fulfilling. I stayed with Giuli and she went above and beyond to make sure that I was okay and really made me feel like I was part of her family.
