Ich freue mich, dass dies meine erste Freiwilligen-Erfahrung war, weil sie erstaunlich war. Andere Freiwillige waren die BESTEN und der Gastgeber war wirklich großzügig und witzig. Die Arbeit war genau wie beschrieben und es gab noch viel Freizeit.

Meine Erfahrung bei Studio Youth Hostel war wirklich gut! Ich habe mich sofort willkommen gefühlt und gut ins Team integriert. Costas ist sehr verständnisvoll und gut erreichbar. Die Aufgaben sind klar und entsprechen den zuvor vereinbarten. Die Aufgaben sind auch nicht allzu anspruchsvoll. Ich empfehle dieses Freiwilligenprogramm!

I had a great time at the hostel, the place is so charming. The work was generally relaxed, but it could sometimes get a bit demanding. Still, the tasks were simple and Costa was always available to explain things and help us whenever we needed it. Both Costa and the rest of the staff made me feel very welcome and comfortable, so I would repeat the experience without hesitation.

Unsere Erfahrung mit Germán war wunderbar. Er ist sehr sozial und höflich. Immer bereit, bei jeder Art von Aufgabe zu helfen. Er hat uns bei der Rezeption und allgemeinen Instandhaltung sehr geholfen. Auch in der Barhilfe macht er einen tollen Job. Das Wichtigste ist, dass Germán ein guter Teamplayer ist. Wir hatten eine sehr gute Kommunikation. Er ist völlig zu empfehlen.

Best thing about this hostel are volunteers and guests. It is easy to meet someone and have fun. In winter the heating is on only from 9am to 11am and 6p to 10pm in volunteers room, so you sleep in very cold environment. Owner is nice, but pays some volunteers 100€ a month, others get nothing, and there is zero communication from him, so you don't know why he decided like he decided. This can sometimes create weird atmosphere amongst volunteers. I wouldn't stay in the hostel again. On other hand Thessaloniki is one of the best cities to stay and live in, full of cafes, bars, clubs and culture.

Es freut mich, dass Sie Ihren Aufenthalt genossen haben.
Es stimmt mit der Heizung in den Erdgeschossen, aber alles wird sich ab dem 2. Februar ändern, da wir Wärmepumpen installieren.
Es gibt Kommunikation, auch vor der Ankunft, auch während des Aufenthalts.
Jeder Freiwillige aus jedem Programm ist anders. Alles ist von beiden Seiten vor dem Austausch geregelt und vereinbart. Es gibt keine Überraschungen.
Es gibt Freiwillige, die nach einigen Monaten zurückkommen, und es gibt Freiwillige, die sich 2 Monate lang angeschlossen haben, aber schließlich 6 Monate geblieben sind.

My stay at the hostel was my first volunteer experience and I would definitely recommend it! The tasks were simple, we had a weekly shiftplan and the team was amazing. Since I was here in winter, the activity in the hostel was mostly slow, barely visitors but more time to grow together with the team. Thessaloniki itself is a cool city, good nightlife and an open-minded community :) Thank you for having me!!✨️

The hostel Is a little cosy hostel where you have the chance to meet many backpackers from all around the world. Thessaloniki is a beautiful and welcoming city, really rich of history and I wish to have the opportunity to come back in the future. About the experience overall, it was one of the best that I had. I want to say thanks to Kosta for the great time and for all the knowledges about Thessaloniki and the Greek culture that made my travel there richer. I wish you the best and I hope to see you again in the future!

The experience was good, the hostel has a good atmosphere and the team worked well together. However, I would recommend staying for longer than a month because then you'll also be given a small monthly payment (I stayed for exactly a month and wasn't given anything). Also, the evening/night shift usually overruns.

It was an amazing experience, the hostel was great and a perfect opportunity to meet people, connecting with travelers and others volunteers, I had a great time over there, the location is 15/20 min walking from the city center and there is always something to do and beautiful beaches around you just need to take the bus. Kosta is a great guy, he isn't all time at the hostel but you have other volunteers and the staffs, the ones I a get a connection and made me feel home. I really recommend this opportunity and totally would come back!!!

I really enjoyed my stay at the hostel! The other volunteers were absolutely wonderful and the people who stayed there were all lovely. The tasks were simple and easy to manage. Thessaloniki is a calm city with lots of coffee shops and bars ( but no clubs). The only thing I had notes on was the food. It was bread, slices of cheese, and slices of meat- nothing else. It often left the me and the other volunteers feeling more hungry after eating because it was so un-filling. It left us feeling a bit food insecure. Over all I loved my time there and will hold it in good memories.

Hostel the hostel is a beautiful hostel. Unfortunately their was a lockdown when I came so I had to go back home. But even in the lockdown there was enough to do but not for a month. I wish Kosta the best and again thanks for the stay!
