Nunca me imaginé viviendo en un Oasis en el desierto y fue realmente una experiencia mágica. Me encontré con un grupo humano hermoso, me gustó mucho el trabajo diario y los coordinadores han sido muy buenos y flexibles. Ha sido una expriencia realmente nutritiva, de mucho aprendizaje y diversión. Lo recomiendo muchísimo ✨️

The experience at the oasis was my first. The people were welcoming, working in the garden and with the animals teaches us a lot about authentic life. The place is beautiful and has a special energy, there's space for yourself and for getting to know others. I've met special people here and I know I've said goodbye to a family, and I hope to meet them again in the future.

Trabajar en el Cortijo fue una experiencia inolvidable. El lugar es mágico, lleno de buena energía y cuidado con mucho amor. Los coordinadores fueron atentos y generosos, me enseñaron mucho y me hicieron sentir en casa desde el primer día. Allí me reconecté conmigo mismo, con la naturaleza y con la fuerza de la vida en comunidad. Me voy con el corazón lleno, agradecido y con amistades y vínculos que llevaré conmigo para siempre. Un agradecimiento especial a Raffaella y Gustavo, dos coordinadores increíbles, que hoy puedo llamar amigos y que también me llevo en el corazón para toda la vida.

Fue mi primer voluntariado y fue una bonita experiencia, yo ayude en la cocina y aprendi de Laura que es la encargada de cocina nuevas formas de cocinar con mas conciencia, mas sano, y con una linda energía, para que mis compañeros pudieran ser felices comiendo, siempre en la mañanas traen vegetales y frutas del huerto y con ello cocinábamos, ósea mas sano imposible, estuve rodeado de personas increíbles, que directa o indirectamente me enseñaron un montón, les agradezco de corazón, gracias gracias gracias.

My first WP experience, AMAZING! My main goal was to learn Spanish (which I did... enough to write a song!), but I also joined the amazing international family, the fun activities, connecting with nature, working with animals, and grabbing tapas with some of the folks after a long sweaty day at work. If you're a city person like me, there are a few things to get used to (dry toilets, slower wifi, walking... a lot, darkness, etc.), but it's all worth it I promise, and the coordinators are always receptive if you have requests or questions. I'd recommend this place to anyone in a heartbeat :)

I had an amazing experience volunteering here. There is a such a lovely community of volunteers and I was welcomed so warmly. The everyday tasks were diverse and I got to try cooking, gardening, looking after the animals and much more. The food is also delicious and the surrounding nature makes the place very special. Thank you so much!
