I've had a blast volunteering at the hostel for 4 weeks. The hostel's a very accommodating host, providing a comfy tent and nice shared facilities. Working hours and tasks were exactly as agreed and I appreciated the open communication. I very much enjoyed making breakfast every day in such a relaxed, laid-back environment and can recommend everyone to come and stay in this tropical paradise!

El hostel y todo su equipo tiene un trozito de mi corazón! El trabajo en sí se me hizo fácil pero sí que es verdad que hacer los desayunos es toda una responsabilidad (a tener en cuenta si aplicais). El equipo ha sido lo mejor de todo, es un hostel pequeñito por lo que siempre estás en contacto con los otros voluntarios y los trabajadores. Una vez a la semana haciamos reunión de equipo cosa que nos daba energía para continuar haciendo buen trabajo. En general recomiendo mucho esta voluntario, extraño mucho a mi familia de Holbox<3

Toda una aventura, cada día fue único y especial, diferente y nunca olvidare a las personas que conocí, los animales y la naturaleza, conecte conmigo. Me encanto trabajar con pinturas de diferentes colores, me divertí mucho! Fue una experiencia inolvidable.

Mi voluntariado en el hostel ha sido una experiencia preciosa. He conocido a gente maravillosa, tanto huéspedes como a otros compañeros, y he disfrutado al máximo del paraíso que es Holbox. Me gustó quedarme en una carpa en lugar de en dorms, especialme te por la privacidad que esto supone. Como voluntaria de actividades, no tengo ninguna queja del hostel y de su gestión. Lo recomiendo 100%!

Fue mi primera experiencia viajando sola y la verdad no pude haber elegido mejor!!! En el hostel te hacen sentir como parte de la familia. Todos fueron súper amigables conmigo, les tomé mucho cariño y gané bonitas amistades :) Holbox es una isla paradisíaca en la cual puedes sentir una enorme paz, y a la vez, salir a divertirte mucho… yo me quería quedar más tiempo! Me encantaría repetir más adelante <3 lo recomiendo muchísimo. Gracias por hacer de mi experiencia una que siempre atesoraré 🥰

The hostel feel like Home! It was my first volunteering, and was amazing, the hostel & staff was amazing, so thanks Nadja a Delphine for the opportunity. The Hostel is a two blocks of the beach, and you have all near! I would come back every time!

My experience at the hostel was amazing! Holbox island is a little paradise If you're in charge of activities, the job is pretty straightforward : you organise activities, and besides that you have to make sure the guest have a good time and gather them all together. You have to work autonomously so if you have any questions or you need help don't hesitate to ask. the hostel as really great vibes. It will make you feel part of a family. The staff and others volonteers are amazing people. You sleep in a tent, which means you have your own personal space, even if it can be hot sometimes

Mi experiencia en el hostel fue increíble! Desde el primer día me sentí bienvenida, Nadja me llevó a conocer todo el pueblo y me presentó a sus amigos de la isla! El hostel es chiquito, del tamaño de una casa, con lo cual hacer amigos es inevitable! El voluntariado de actividades es el mejor! Me ayudo a mejorar mis habilidades sociales, mi nivel de inglés y todo eso mientras conocía la isla de pies a cabeza! Tenia la libertad de establecer mi propio horario asi como las actividades semanales. Jamás olvidare estos 2 meses en holbox! La isla es hermosa, tranquila, divertida y muy segura!

Volunteering at the hostel was a beautiful experience. I learned and grew so much while I was here. Holbox is an AMAZING island with everything you need. The work is simple and straight forward no matter what job you have. I will miss this place so much and I thank everyone that made this experience so special. If you have the chance to live in a tent on an island in Mexico, I 100% suggest you take it ❤️Gracias Gracias Gracias!
