Ich bin aufgrund von Flugverspätungen etwas später angekommen, und Talab war super freundlich und verständnisvoll, die Arbeitsbelastung war nicht anspruchsvoll und sie hatten ein wunderbar freundliches Team, besonders der Koch, der auf Anfrage jeden Tag köstliche Mahlzeiten zubereitete. Ich würde es zu 100% empfehlen

Ich hatte so eine schöne Zeit, im Hostel ehrenamtlich zu arbeiten! Talab war wirklich angenehm, um mich herum, respektsvoll, und ließ mich von Anfang an zuhause fühlen. Ich habe hauptsächlich bei Social Media geholfen, daher war die Arbeit ziemlich entspannt und flexibel, was bedeutete, dass ich trotzdem viel Zeit hatte, den Ort zu genießen und die Dinge einfach langsam anzugehen. Ich war zufällig während der Nebensaison dort, also war es deutlich ruhiger als gewöhnlich, aber mir hat das tatsächlich wirklich gefallen. Es machte die ganze Erfahrung ruhig, gelassen und viel persönlicher. Sehr dankbar für die Erfahrung und dafür, wie willkommen ich mich gefühlt habe. Vielen Dank, Talab!

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit, ehrenamtlich im Hostel zu helfen! Talab war so ein lustiger und respektvoller Gastgeber — er sorgte dafür, dass wir uns von Anfang an wohl und willkommen fühlten. Unsere Aufgaben waren einfach und sehr flexibel, da wir hauptsächlich bei den sozialen Medien halfen, was uns viel Zeit gab, um den Ort zu genießen. Wir sind während der Nebensaison dort gewesen, also gab es nicht viele Gäste und nicht viel los, aber das hat es zu einer sehr entspannten Erfahrung für uns gemacht. Danke, dass du uns aufgenommen hast, Talab!

I'm so happy that I stayed at the hostel. It is a well-known hostel in Jaisalmer. The location is great, right next to the fort. 10 minutes from the train station as well. Talab was a great host and has a very inspiring story. The reception work was easy and I was happy to help with some troubleshooting too. Talab took me on some tours in his car and bike around the city which was really fun. He also made sure that I met other international travelers. My only critique is that I was very excited to take care of camels (based on the title of the exchange) and that isn't a job actually offered.

I had a great experience volunteering at the hostel! Taleb was a good host who always looked out for me, and all of the staff at the hostel were good people and nice friends. The hotel has an amazing big rooftop with the best view of the fort and is in a great location for exploring the city. I was given a good private room for my stay and provided with meals. Taleb also drove me around the city, and to cool places like the lake and the haunted village. and at the end of my stay they kindly dropped me to the bus stand and made sure i was safely on my way!

Es war großartig, Wavey zu beherbergen. Sie war freundlich und hat uns bei der Verwaltung unserer Social-Media-Kanäle und dem touristischen Engagement geholfen ! Talab is a great host, with an great history! He made us feel confortable since the first moment. We helped him producing photos and videos about the hotel and the desert the hostel, and dealing with his social media. Our schedule was very flexible, since it was important for us to visit the highlights of the city. We even got a chance to go to the desert the hostel! It was amazing! Thank you, Talab!

I spent such a good time in the hostel, I felt treated as a family member. They received me very kind and offer me a room for myself. The job was pretty easy, helping in reception, some post and videos for social media and for sure sharing with the guest. Jaisalmer in general is such a nice place to visit and have a different experience of India. I really appreciate the time in the hostel specially with Talab and hiral, they are good persons 🫶

My experience was interesting. I enjoyed the stay and the people were incredibly friendly. Everyone constantly made sure that I was comfortable and taken care of. One thing I struggled with a lot was the lack of communication of expectations or tasks. Sometimes I found myself sitting at the desk feeling completely lost, because I wasn't really explained what was expected of me. Overall it was an amazing stay and I would recommend it, but maybe for someone who already has some experience with running a business, so they can make suggestions and take action accordingly
