Me and my friend stayed here for two weeks and had a fantastic time. Willow is a lovely host with lots of knowledge about Valladolid and a great plan for his hostel. He's enigmatic and a very relaxed host. Our main job was painting and helping around the hostel but we got to work at our own pace and had all the time we wanted to explore the surrounding area. the hostel included was great and we got to use a scooter as well. Our accommodation was clean and we felt very content. Overall was a brilliant experiance and we hope to come back one day and see Willow again

Unser Gastgeber hat unseren Aufenthalt weniger als 24 Stunden vor dem Start storniert. Er erklärte, dass sein Eigentum von Eindringlingen heimgesucht worden sei, sodass er uns nicht mehr empfangen konnte. Obwohl wir verstehen, dass solche Situationen außerhalb seiner Kontrolle liegen könnten, brachte es uns auch in eine komplizierte Lage, weil wir uns bereits in Valladolid befanden, als er sich daran erinnerte, uns zu benachrichtigen. Ihm zufolge konnte er uns nicht per Text benachrichtigen oder vorher über worldpackers stornieren, weil alles gestohlen wurde; aber im Moment, als wir ihm über WhatsApp schrieben, um mitzuteilen, dass wir in Valladolid seien, fuhr er fort, unseren Aufenthalt zu stornieren und ließ uns in einem Schwebezustand zurück.

Wir hatten die Chance, dort 2 Monate zu verbringen, und es war der Hammer!! Willo und das ganze Team waren großartig, er hat uns bei allem sehr geholfen, immer bemüht, uns unterzubringen und uns wie zu Hause fühlen zu lassen (er hat mir sogar erlaubt, für 2 Wochen zu gehen, damit ich nach Oaxaca reisen und zurückkommen konnte). Der Ort ist auch schön, wirklich nah am Zentrum, man kann alles zu Fuß machen. Ich empfehle den Ort wirklich weiter, sehr sicher, nette Leute, gute Vibes überhaupt !!!

Ich habe zwei wunderbare Wochen im Guacamayas Hostel verbracht. Gemeinsam mit Reisenden aus der ganzen Welt zu arbeiten, war für mich eine wirklich wertvolle Erfahrung. Alle waren so freundlich, und ich fühlte mich wirklich glücklich. Die Lage ist ebenfalls perfekt, in der Nähe des Marktes und des Stadtzentrums. Nochmals möchte ich Wilo dafür danken, dass er mich willkommen hieß. Es war wirklich das beste Hostel!

Wilo es de los mejores host que conocido te ayuda a ir a lindos lugares, y siempre he estado atento a que no te falte nada tuve que irme antes del voluntariado por razones personales, y comprendió totalmente gracias Wilo y el hostel 🤍

We really enjoyed our stay! Willo was very friendly, flexible and gave good advice. We would just have appreciated a little more visibility and equipment. Also, since there were two of us we were able to keep each other company, but if you come alone out of season, it is possible that there will be no tourists or volunteers... Also note that as a couple we were able to have our days off together but not our shifts because it is a small team so the shifts are mostly done alone. But apart from that it was great and very pleasant to stay at the Hostal and discover Valladolid and around! :)

This was my first time volunteering and traveling solo, and it was an amazing experience! Everyone was so friendly and we really immersed ourselves in the local culture! I loved Valladolid, I love the hostel, the team, and Willo! A huge thanks to Willo, a sunny and funny guy (and good buritos cooker!). I'll definitely be back! 💃

This is a perfect place where you'll feel looked after from the moment you arrive. Jorge will make you laugh, cook you delicious food and let you take over the music when jazz funk becomes too much…Willo is very friendly and a true expert on Valladolid - he is always ready with suggestions and tips for you! If you want to practice Spanish, this is definitely the right place. I loved having responsibility and Willo is super flexible with any ideas for the hostel. the hostel is relaxing, cosy and welcoming; it was also great to get know regulars and friends who are always coming and going.

Mi experiencia en el hostel fue muy tranqui. No había muchas huéspedes y por eso no había mucha que hacer. Pero fui muy bien recibido por Willo quien me respetó y me dejó a hacer lo que quería por la mayoría. Lo recomiendo esa experiencia para parejas, personas que trabajar en línea, o aquellos que quieren un poquito de paz en un pueblo lindo.
