Ich empfehle diesen Ort jedem, der das ländliche Leben in Japan erleben, neue Freunde finden, einen ökologischen Einfluss haben und Apiarienmanagement lernen möchte. Der Ort an dem du bleibst, ist nett und die Arbeit ist körperlich, aber wir haben viel Ruhe und kurze Arbeitszeiten. Perfekt ausbalanciert! Du hast genügend Zeit, die Stadt zu erkunden und nach der morgendlichen Arbeit deine eigenen Dinge zu tun.

My time spent at Aki'sthe the farmwas easily 2 of the most incredible weeks of my life! I had so much fun learning all about honeybees and what it takes to be a beekeeper. Aki is incredibly knowledgeable and always had an answer for my questions. As long as you don't mind lifting hives occasionally, the work is very easy and fun! We usually worked from 7:30 till lunch time and then had the rest of the day to do our own thing. Overall, it was very relaxing and a great way to experience rural Japan. Thank you Aki, Tombo, and Akane for your hospitality - I hope I can come back soon! :)

Der Besuch bei Aki und dem Bienenstand im Winter ist definitiv nicht zu empfehlen, aber trotzdem, wenn du willst, ist Aki ein Superhost, der deinen Aufenthalt bequem gestalten wird. Proaktivität ist der Schlüssel bei der Zusammenarbeit mit Aki; sein Haushalt ist groß, und er ist allein und kann nicht alles bewältigen, auch wenn er nie um Hilfe bittet, abgesehen von den Aufgaben der Imkerei. Es ist immer willkommen zu helfen und das Durcheinander im Garten oder Haus zu säubern. Er kocht köstliche Mahlzeiten, und die Tokushima-Gegend hat kulturell viel zu bieten. Als Superhost ist Aki immer bereit, dich zu den lokalen kulturellen Attraktionen zu begleiten.

Die Arbeit an sich ist kein Witz. Ich bin in der Stadt aufgewachsen und war bisher nie handwerklich geschickt. Ich musste so viel über die Bewirtschaftung des Bauernhofs lernen. Während des freien Tages nahm Aki uns mit zum Wandern (und Nudeln im Becher auf dem Gipfel des Berges) und schwamm im Fluss und im Meer. Aki kochte während der Arbeitstage ein köstliches Mittagessen. Er hat uns auch einige Male in Restaurants mitgenommen oder Bento-Boxen im Supermarkt gekauft. Akis Empfehlungen sind immer gut! Wir haben auch Akis Freunde kennengelernt und hatten zusammen eine schöne Zeit. Ich habe es hier zu schätzen gewusst und genossen!

I had a wonderful time learning about the bees and making a difference. Aki's passion and dedication to nature and the wellbeing of the farmpopulation is evident. I gained so much knowledge from his years of experience, and he always encouraged questions. Tasks were varied and covered all aspects of the farmcare. the farmis rough and ready - prepare to get hot, dirty and encounter bugs of all kinds - but it's a genuine and rewarding experience for those who aren't squeamish. Aki took us on adventures in beautiful places during off days. It was an unforgettable opportunity I will always treasure.

Grateful to have gained hands-on experience with hive inspections, bottling and labelingthethethe farm, and seeing rural area of Tokushima! Aki has been the farmkeeping for several years and has a lot of knowledge on Italian the farmbees. I would recommend working remotely, or volunteering/ traveling with another person during your stay as Aki's home and business can be isolating at times due to a more remote location and varying beliefs of globalism / economy / politics. Extremely thankful for my time overall, and the nearby temples & shrines (and of course -- the bees) are so beautiful!

Incredible experience! I 100% recommend coming here if you are interested in learning aboutthe the farmand Japanese culture. Aki-san is a great host with lots of interesting perspectives on various topics. Honestly I wish I could stay longer, hopefully someday I'll come back.

Kodo be the farmwas a once in a lifetime experience! Every day we learned so much about the bees and Aki was happy to answer any questions we had. Aki and his girlfriend Michelle were amazing hosts! We had great food every day and visited some amazing places! We can't thank them enough and we have made friends for life.

The work was fun and interesting and there was no stress. At firstthe the farmsounds daunting, but things become smoother as you get used to it. Aki-san was also very flexible with my schedule and he taught me a lot about many different things. I hope there is another chance in the future. But overall a great host!

From the beginning until the end he was very helpful, his experience as athe the farmis really amazing, feel free to ask any questions about it. His house is really nice and you don't have to worry about food, there is always something to eat, also there are a lot of places to strolling around. I Spent a really nice time at his place and learnt a lot.
