Es war eine sehr spezielle und großartige Erfahrung für mich. Ich ging jeden Werktag zur Schule. Ich nahm an einigen Aktivitäten teil und aß Essen mit Kindern, die in der Schule leben, weil diese Tage in Kenia Ferien waren. Ich blieb in einem sicheren und zuverlässigen Haus. Jede Mahlzeit war köstlich, das Zimmer war sauber und bequem, die Schüler waren besonders. Ich blieb etwa zwei Wochen, aber ich möchte länger bleiben. P.S. Die Tage, die ich blieb, waren fast Ferien, aber ich wusste es nicht. Also, wenn du Englisch unterrichten willst und mehr über die Schule erfahren möchtest, musst du den Stundenplan kennen.

Wenn sich jemand überhaupt bewirbt, Freiwilligenarbeit zu leisten, kennst du ihn in der Regel nicht, bis er ankommt und bei dir bleibt. Shion war sehr besonders, ruhig, unterstützend, geduldig und hat immer jede Unterstützung geschätzt. Ich war demütig, bei ihr zu bleiben, und ihre Fähigkeiten haben unser Programm so sehr unterstützt. Danke, dass du eine so inspirierende Person bist, die wir je hatten. Viel Glück auf deiner Reise. I totally absolutely recommend this experience. The host are some of the nicest people I've met, the workload is a good balance between too much work and not enough, you can also work more or less if you're tired and need rest or the opposite. The house where you will stay is very good, there is a supermarket, a church, restaurants near by among other things. It is very clean, has comfortable beds and you can use the kitchen if you want to cook your own meals. I highly recommend the organization.

No puedo estar más contenta tras mi paso por el voluntariado de Alice. Estoy súper agradecida de haber podido observar el gran trabajo que hacen en la escuela y en el orfanato. El trato es inmejorable tanto allí como en la casa y he podido tener total libertad para conocer este país de una manera preciosa. Era mi primer voluntariado y viaje sola y repetiría sin duda. Lo recomiendo a todo el mundo.

Ich empfehle Blanca der ganzen Welt wärmstens. Sie ist eine sehr fleißige, freundliche und kooperative junge Frau. Ihre Entscheidung, das Homestay zu bezahlen, hat unsere Wohltätigkeitsarbeit unterstützt und sie ist Zeugin dessen, wovon ich spreche. Wir haben für sie eine sehr ansprechende Safari organisiert und sie mochte sie sehr. Vielen Dank für Ihr Verständnis und dafür, dass Sie uns gewählt haben. Sie sind jederzeit willkommen in Kenia.

Alice, the director of the organization School, is an incredible woman who works many hours a day for the well-being of those children. She teaches and also takes care of everything needed for the best function of the school. The building is great and children are absolutely lovely. This is a great opportunity for many children who live in that area of the slum. The work that teachers, cleaners, cooks are doing is priceless and I admire them a lot. All the best for everyone.

La experiencia en la organización fue muy especial tanto por los voluntarios y coordinadores del proyecto como por la cantidad de niños que necesitan un soporte para continuar con su aprendizaje , siempre con una sonrisa y ganas de compartir. Alice y su familia nos trataron como parte de la familia , volveremos sin duda a la organización y seguiremos en contacto con ellos para siempre. Recomiendo a todos los voluntarios que se animen a pasar un tiempo en este maravilloso proyecto ya que necesitan mucha ayuda ,te harán sentir como en casa e involucraran en su cultura como uno más ; )

I' ve spend 6 days in the organization fundation with my friend Pili. The experience was amazing , we ' ve been hosted in Alice' s house during the volunteering , she and her sons were so kind and helpfull. We spend really good time helping with the school and in our free time on the weekend we have been also around the city, in the church and was very very nice also these moments. For us they are our new African family , we will keep them always in our hearts.

La organización es increíble! Trabajar con niños es a lo que he dedicado mi carrera laboral, también en voluntariado fue una experiencia muy hermosa, los niños son tan hermosos, alegres, agradecidos, son luz 💫 agradezco la oportunidad que me han dado, a Alice y las demás personas que están al frente de la organización y me abrieron la puerta de su hogar, agradezco a Debbie, la voluntaria que me enseñó a trabajar allí, en fin, a todos los que hicieron de esta experiencia la mejor!
