Freiwilligenarbeit im Hangout war insgesamt eine großartige Erfahrung. Alles war wie beschrieben und ich konnte mich wie zu Hause fühlen. Ich hatte die Gelegenheit, die anderen Freiwilligen kennenzulernen und Zeit miteinander zu verbringen, und das hat es reicher und spaßiger gemacht. Ich habe auch einige der Reisenden getroffen, was ich sehr zu schätzen wusste. Emre erklärte alle Aufgaben sehr gut, gab uns alle Informationen über den Ort und er würde uns alles zur Verfügung stellen, was wir brauchten, um uns wohl zu fühlen. Ich würde es jedem wärmstens empfehlen.

Die Herberge ist sehr komfortabel, ruhig und sauber! Ich würde sagen, es ist ein großartiger Ort, wenn du eine Weile entspannen möchtest, besonders wenn du ein digitaler Nomade bist. Es ist jedoch kein richtiger Ort, um Kontakte zu knüpfen. Die Aufgaben sind einfach, und Emre wird alles erklären, sobald du ankommst. Ich blieb in den letzten Wochen der Sommersaison, und es waren hauptsächlich 2 Stunden Reinigung + 3 Stunden Rezeption. Er hat auch das gesamte Essen bereitgestellt, das wir brauchten, zweimal pro Woche, und es hat sehr gut funktioniert. Wenn du Fragen hast, zögere nicht, mich zu kontaktieren!

It was my first experience with worldpackers, and I'm really happy I did it. The hostel is very comfortable and clean. Workload is very acceptable (I went in peak season), cleaning is normally around 2 hours and the rest is reception. You can have the rest of the day to explore the area around Bar, and on your off days, you can easily explore Montenegro since the train and bus stations are close. Communication with Emre was easy, we met every week to agree on shifts, and he bought all the food we needed. I definitely recommend this host.

Hostel Hangouts is a great place to volunteer and meet other people. Tasks are easy to learn and Emre will guide you through it the first day. He also provides lots of information and knows many things about the country and how to get around. He buys food twice a week and is always around if you need him. Thanks again for everything!!

I really enjoyed my experience at the hostel! The tasks are easy and clearly explained. You will have plenty of time to explore the surrounding towns, beaches, and national parks. Emre is a great host - flexible with schedules and full of helpful information about Montenegro and things to do in your free time. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an opportunity to enjoy coastal town life. If you are thinking about it, just apply! ☀️

O hostel está situado próximo a supermercados, a estação de trem e ônibus, a uma padaria e outros comércios locais. Trabalhei como voluntária durante um mês e uma semana e a experiência foi realmente muito boa. Os horários de trabalho são intercalados com os de outros voluntários e a comunicação com Emre é fluída e objetiva. As tarefas são, basicamente, estar na recepção recebendo os novos hóspedes e manter e áreas em comum e quartos limpos e organizados. Recomendo especialmente para mulheres viajantes solo, pela segurança local e pelo respeito com que Emre nos trata. Obrigada Emre!

I had a lovely time in Bar during my stay with the chill laid back atmosphere of the hostel. Emre was a great host, was very flexible with our schedules, respected the work hours, and provided a thorough training for our roles. You will have plenty of time to explore Bar and tbe surrounding areas with the shift schedule. Since Montenegro is quite a small country I was able to take the buses and trains to see multiple coastal cities. It was also a huge pro that all food for meals was provided; we did a shopping list twice a week so that was perfect as well. Would definitely recommend!

It was my first volunteering experience, and it will most likely remain one of the best. Bar is a place that offers you a peaceful small-town life with both its nature and sea. The hostel is small and cute, and all your needs have been considered. It's also very clean and well-organized. Emre is very attentive and puts effort into making sure volunteers have a good experience. He also gives great recommendations so you can explore Montenegro in your free time. The job is exactly as described—Emre is very respectful of the set working hours. I hope I can visit again :”)

This has been a very wonderful experience for me; the hostal has all the commodities you need and its peaceful. Tasks are very simple and clear: housekeeping, cleaning in general, doing check ins. Emre is a great host; communicative, taking care of volunteers needs. He buys food per week and you cook. Also he gives a lot of recommendations to visit in Bar. Thank you Emre!

Me encantó mucho la experiencia ☺️ El host es muy amable, servicial y generoso, el hostel es muy bonito y acogedor. Me encantó mucho la organización tanto del hostel como de los turnos y la repartición de las tareas (que son bastantes sencillas. Recomendadisimo especialmente para los que estudian o trabajan remotamente y prefieren lugar con mucha paz y organización
