This was my first ever volunteering experience and I'm happy I was here.✨ The environment is calm, beautiful countryside with cows and sheep around. The farm has a big potential and it's a lot of work there. I'm glad I could contribute a little bit. I enjoyed picking apples and making juice and cider from it, weeding and planting. It wasn't hard work and we were flexible when it came to working hours. I was lucky to be on a farm with other guys and I would say we made a pretty good team. Olle as a host is a very kind, sociable and helpful person and we were never bored with him.

A wonderful first-time volunteering exp!! Host: Olle is that generous & energetic professor you can imagine🕺🏻 🎶 I loved how he'd always been appreciative and never failed to compliment us :) Vibe: Nice weather, peaceful scenery, and a cozy house (esp w/ great conversations over meals & two cutie cats 🥰) Tasks: A manageable amount & new everyday — I helped w/ digging & weeding, planting vegetables, harvesting fruit, making cider, pruning, woodchopping, and even got close to the cattle for some minor feeding tasks~ Indoor chores like cooking & cleaning were always equally shared :)

Olle is a great host! Gave us very easy tasks, explained well, opened to communication. He loves his volunteers and younger company. He was away on weekdays, but always made sure we have enough of everything when he was leaving and always was on a call when we needed help. He is great cook and even better musician. Really kind and social person to be around!

We had a lovely time. We had the opportunity to try out multiple jobs. Olov was an excellent host, he recommended us many places to visit, he provided us bikes so it was easy to travel in the area. Overall we had a great time, would definitely recommend!

I had a great experience here. Ollie really made sure I got to learn a lot about Sweden and we shared some excellent meals. I felt like the work I did was really productive and I got to see the fruits of my labor which was very rewarding. I learned so much more about gardening and plants and even did a little bit of woodworking. Meals were delicious and free time was abundant. He also provided bikes and we were able to bike to town when we wanted. I had so much fun chatting to Olle, listening to music, and dancing. It was such a perfect experience and I would highly recommend.

Olle knows how to make a small group of strangers form a great bond and share wonderful moments🙃 We got to experience an amazing local folk festival and to ride the bike in the beautiful area around. I experienced some difficulties with the working schedule as I didn't know all of us had to share the cooking duty (+the dishwasher was broken), but Olle was really wonderful to talk to about it and he tried to help. The house takes a little while to get used to and you have to shut down the water for the cows if you want to keep them running in the shower, but with that said, it was beautiful✨

I immediately felt at home❤️Olov is an amazing host, he gives great tips on what to do in your free time, and he's the best cook in the world. Please publish a cookbook! If you're open with the other volunteers and with Olov, you can experience so much together. Besides exploring the area, I played table tennis, golf, and badminton. We visited other cities, went snowboarding, saw the Northern Lights, and attended concerts.There's absolutely no need to be afraid, because Olov and his brother are the kindest and most wonderful people. I made great Friends. Sending lots of Love to Elina and Olov

I really enjoyed my time here, the energy of the farm was special I felt really good. Olov is an incredible host, he is funny and a good cooker. Snowbording was sooo cool and i enjoyed the work part as well cause everyday i've done different task. Thanks Henry for making this amazing experience 🥹

I enjoyed my stay here! In those 5 weeks I met many nice people and learned a lot about the swedish culture and the care for cows. There were also many things to do in the free time, I was here in winter so we went skiing sometimes. It's only important to make sure that you're not alone here, it's better to be around other volunteers. The house is kinda messy but you can make yourself comfortable in it. During my stay the cow-shift was closed, so we got other tasks in the house like deep-cleaning and painting etc. Overall I recommend the place, thank you Olle, Åke, Maria, Anders and Jasper🙏☺

My time at Olov's farm was amazing. I had the opportunity to learn so many new skills like wood cutting, milking cows, feeding the animals and more. The farm is immersed in nature and is a truly magical place. The work was very manageable and we were able to discuss together and decide what tasks we would complete and when. Tasks were usually discussed day by day so you have to be flexible but I found it made the whole experience more fun and welcoming. Olov is an amazing host and took us to see landmarks in the town, ice skating, skiing and much more. I definitely recommend this experience!
