Jk und ihr engagiertes Team sind wirklich harte arbeitende menschen die rund um die uhr für pferde arbeiten. Zu den Hauptaufgaben der Freiwilligen gehören die Reinigung der Pferdeställe, das Nachfüllen der Wassereimer und das Füttern der Pferde. Man muss beachten, dass es harte Arbeit ist, aber man wird mit einer herzhaften lokalen Küche und einer ruhigen Nachbarschaft belohnt. Ich habe auch 1-2 Reitstunden pro Woche erhalten, wenn das Personal von den Aufgaben frei ist und die Farm-Reitkurse für die lokale Bevölkerung. Aus dieser Erfahrung konntest du viel lokales koreanisches Essen probieren und von der koreanischen Sprache umgeben sein. Die Arbeitsbelastung ist wie erwartet und reicht vom Wasser auffüllen bis zum Aufräumen von Kot. Mit einem schönen Wandergebiet mit vielen herrlichen Ausblicken ist die Natur hier wirklich atemberaubend. Wenn du jedoch kein Koreanisch sprichst und es keine anderen Freiwilligen gibt, kann die Erfahrung ziemlich einsam sein. Wenn du es magst, viel allein zu sein und dein Koreanisch verbessern möchtest, ist dies der richtige Ort, um hinzugehen.

This is a great experience for nature and animal lovers! I got the chance to ride and loved hanging out with the dogs every day. Jin Kyung is a soft-hearted person who clearly cares a lot about her animals and her volunteers. She always made sure I had everything I needed. The work was exactly as is described on the profile. I had basically no prior experience with this kind of work but the staff were happy to show me everything I needed to know!

I'm not going to lie it is very hard work, you have to love animals and it's mostly caring for them, not riding them. I got to help during school classes with the horses which was awesome and developed a very intimate relationship with the team. I learned a lot about Korean culture and cuisine. But this is not an experience if you are in Korea for sightseeing this is an experience to help animals and people and to really get to know the culture. If you're looking for a free ride, this is not the place.

I had an amazing time at the farm riding school. The team needs some time to warm up to you but then you have a new family! Everyone was so sweet and helpful, they really want to best for you. You have to be prepared to work hard, there is a lot to do and to learn! Besides working hard you have alot in return: amazing food, a lot of fun with everyone and a really local feeling. All in all a place that I will never forget ❤️

My one and only advice: go there! Jinkyung and her team are so so so welcoming and adorable and you really become part of the family if you stay for a while~ traditional food everyday for lunch and dinner, going to play 8-ball, 노래방 and many other things <3 even though the work is physically hard it is also very rewarding and you get to know many people here, showing you different perspectives and experiences!! Truly a wonderful place if you are willing to work hard ^^ the fruits of your labor are more than you could imagine~ If that didn't convince you : we have dogs and a cat hehe :D

Where to start... I started working mornings and afternoons and after a few days I was tired, we had no free time for sightseeing or going to the city, after deciding to take 2-3 afternoon off Jinkyung's attitude towards me changed. At first, he seemed to care about me, but then changed, more than once she spoke to me without respect and never “please” or “thank you”. Also, there was a tense atmosphere with the Korean group and volunteers. i could write many more things… so I don't recommend this place. they need to change a lot of things to make it a pleasant place to go.

I was very excited to work with horses and help the locals. However, the tasks we had agreed upon didn't match what I actually had to do. The Korean team kept expecting the volunteers to do more and more, and even when I did, they made me feel like it was never enough. After a while, I thought I would become part of the team, but instead, the Korean team ignored me and even talked behind my back. As a result, I didn't feel comfortable at all and became emotionally and physically exhausted. It could be such a nice place but the korean team just isn't willing to put in the effort.

When I first applied to the farm, one of the reasons were because of the comments left by other volunteers. They were what drew me in and made me apply. When I arrived it was sadly not like this anymore. So if you also want to go on account of the older comments, just keep that in mind. The workers are all very nice, but will need time to open up to you. The work load is hard, but manageable if you are more people. It was fun to try new and delicious foods. The only thing I wish I had done was take more days off, to go explore, because you will use most of your time on the farm

This experience was by far the most unpleasant from all my previous ones. The horses are lovely and you get to try local cuisine. It was not the hard work as much as the lack of respect and appreciation. The environment was not friendly or welcoming, and there was a lot of tension within the Korean team. It is important to note that the account is managed for the host, which naturally leads to misunderstandings. There was false advertising of the position, as per riding and the working hours. I would recommend the host to review the concept of volunteering and get a better understanding of it

Jeder hat einen anderen Kommunikationsstil, daher ist es normal, dass das Team Zeit braucht, um sich an neue Freiwillige anzupassen. Wir hatten Personalprobleme, die inzwischen behoben sind; trotzdem bitten wir um Entschuldigung, dass dies Ihren Aufenthalt beeinflusst hat. Wie bei allen, die zu uns kommen, fragen wir, ob die Freiwilligen mit einer Vollzeitarbeit einverstanden sind und wir niemals Vollzeittage für unsere Freiwilligen vorschreiben. Was Ihre freien Tage und halben Tage betrifft, hat das Team Sie wirklich dazu gedrängt, mit Jinkyung zu sprechen, doch Sie haben es weiterhin vor sich hergeschoben. In Bezug auf das Reiten haben Sie allen verschiedene Dinge gesagt. Manchmal sagten Sie, dass Sie es tun wollten, aber zu anderen Zeiten sagten Sie, dass Sie kein Interesse am Reiten hier hätten. Deshalb haben unsere anderen Freiwilligen nicht die Initiative ergriffen, Reitstunden für Sie zu organisieren. Wir wünschen Ihnen alles Gute auf Ihren Reisen, Team JK.
