Just a lovely and different experience. Sammatz is a place where you can find home, I got sick and I just can say that they were always willing to help me, providing me with the necessary stuff to get better. The vibe inside Sammatz it's amazing, always full of energy, people from around the world, peaceful place where you can get in contact with the nature all the time but being also in contact with the world. It was my first volunteering and I need to say that I'd like to go back soon, I had to leave earlier than expected but they were totally comprehensive.

Sammatz is sucha great place to learn and make new friends from around the world. I volunteered for a month here and I would definitely recommend it. I had such a good time making new friends and working here. Everyday is fun and exciting and the people are kind and friendly. It was a great experience to be in Sammatz!

Sammatz feels like home to me now, coming to this place changed my life in so many ways that I could spend hours writing this review and telling future volunteers about all the amazing experiences that I've lived here in Sammatz. This place is in full meaning an international community, people here are so nice, they take care about you and look after you to make sure that you are always comfortable. I loved all the different works that had the opportunity to try, specially all the experience that I acquired in the construction area. I love Sammatz, and I will definitely be back soon. ❤️

This was one of the most beautiful months of my life. The people are incredible, the work is flexible and engaging. The Sammatz team is super responsive and supportive if you have ideas for activities or gatherings (I was able to teach three dance classes during my stay, absolute highlight of my year). I slept well, ate well, and made lifelong friends. I can't ask for much more. I will miss this place so much and hope to return again in the spring ❤️

Living and working at Sammatz is everything I imagined it would be: a beautiful remote village in the German countryside, where your work and commitment really make a difference in the community. No matter what job(s) you get, you truly feel like a member of this beautiful family. If there was one place I think there could be some improvement, it would be communication between the Sammatz mentors and the volunteers. However, this one bump pales in comparison to the gratifying work, the people, and the experiences that made my stay in Sammatz truly extraordinary!

My stay at Sammatz was the best first volunteer experience I could've asked for. It was more then anything I ever expected. I have met countless unique people there that I will talk about for the rest of my life. It is very easy to get yourself involved and surrounded by a strong sense of community. The work is flexible in the sense that you can get a wide variety of jobs. I had a wide variety of jobs which made the work day so much more interesting. The community activities where a massive highlight for me. I would highly recommend the eco village.
