I highly recommend the eco village as a work exchange. It was a great experience for me. The staff are patient and kind, you will make many new friends. You will meet people from all over the world, with different cultures. The accommodation and the food are pretty good. But you have to take your work seriously. I'm very grateful for this experience.

My experience in Michalshof has been rewarding in many aspects. I got to know how to work with animals, in the kitchen and in the garden. I was asked to work for 6:30 h/day and few hours in one day of the weekend, depending on my availabilty. The tasks are easy to learn and there's always someone who can help you at anytime. It was my first experience as a volunteer and it was surprisingly pleasant. I was surrounded by nature and was able to meet people from different parts of the world and make long term friendship. I will always remember the sense of community I was able to see in Sammatz.

. Hey guys!

The eco village is absurdly amazing: there's really no reason why people of any kind shouldn't do it. It's a place where you learn, communicate, know, experience and enjoy so much that it makes it very hard for us to leave. I not only strongly recommend it, but I also dare to say that it's something that everyone should have the opportunity to experience. I wouldn't let the chance of going to that place go by. From the bottom of my heart: just do it. For all of the people from Sammatz, my sincere gratitude and my best wishes for this community. I will definitely come back. Thank you. ❤️
