Zhuana war während ihrer Zeit bei uns eine große Unterstützung. Sie hat insbesondere Freude daran gefunden, im Café zu helfen, wo ihre Freundlichkeit und Zuverlässigkeit wirklich geschätzt wurden, doch sie hat auch an vielen anderen Aufgaben mit Engagement und Sorgfalt teilgenommen.
Ein besonderes Highlight war ihre wunderbare Präsentation über die Ukraine, die alle sehr interessant und inspirierend fanden.

Sammatz is a great experience if you want to interact with a lot of people from all over the world. The campus is beautiful. You're always in touch with the mentors, and they're very flexible. I highly recommend it. Be aware that In the end you do many jobs, not just one. I loved working with Gaby in the Garden. I made some really good friends. Sammatz will always be in my heart. <3

At the community, you can make friends with over 100 other international volunteers, you can improve your humanistic skills (farming, cooking, animal care, etc), and you can come to truly understand a simpler, focused, and more real life. From the (sometimes challenging) work, to the endless conversations, to the craziness of the shared kitchen, you feel tired, but accomplished after each day. the community is a special community, and if you like learning and meeting other travelers in a busy but tranquil environment, the community will provide a wonderful experience for your life.

No words can describe how nice volunteering in Sammatz was. One of the best experience I've had so far. The hosts are very sweet and they will make sure you feel comfortable with the work that has been given. The food was also excellent and I really enjoyed the cake time every afternoon. If you are looking for spending time in nature while having fun surrounded by beautiful people coming from all over the world, this is the place to be!

Viviane war während ihres Aufenthalts bei uns eine große Hilfe! Sie hat sich überall mit viel Energie eingebracht – von täglichen Aufgaben bis hin zu spontanen Fahrten, und besonders in unserem Café, wo sie eine fantastische Arbeit geleistet hat. Sie ist äußerst zuverlässig, organisiert und hat immer eine positive Einstellung.

This was my first volunteering experience and I couldn't have chosen a better place! In Sammatz you get the chance to work in a variety of areas and learn a lot from each one of it. I spent most of the time on the construction site, and it was really fulfilling to be part of the Tiny Houses project, to gain hands-on experience and to share special moments with such an amazing team and leaders. I learned so much from both locals and volunteers from all over the world and I'll never forget the incredible connections I made here. I really look forward to coming back ☺️

It is difficult to put such a magical experience into words. I am still emotionally reeling from saying goodbye to so many amazing people! Sammatz is truly an incredible place for meeting people from different places, and forming wonderful friendships you will cherish for a lifetime. The other volunteers are what makes the experience so worthwhile (I miss them already!), and the members of the community that run everything are so patient to explain things (even if like me you are very forgetful and ask multiple times, thanks again Sara for your patience haha). I hope I can come back sometime ❤
