Such a great community. The volunteers and residents truly care for each other, and I liked the social environment. I'm leaving with some amazing friendships and great memories of the people I met here.

This was my first Worldpackers trip and I'm really happy I chose this place :)) I'd definitely recommend it, especially if it's your first time! The residence is great and it's super easy to make friends, both with the residents and the other volunteers. Huge thanks to Jacob and Darren for always being so helpful. I also enjoyed the evening shifts because then you have almost the whole day for yourself. Overall it was a very lovely experience! If you have any questions please DM me 😇❤️

It was my first volunteer and I truely love it. The tasks are chill, the location is perfect and the manager are simply the best. I made a lot of friends and I can't wait to come back.

It was a good experience overall. I met many nice people and made friendships that I will carry with me for life, which I'm very grateful for. The food was great, especially the Saturday breakfast. The location is very good, and the working hours are fair. I'm thankful for the experience and the people I met along the way.

This is my second time volunteering at the hostel, and once again I had an amazing season here. Accommodation, food and the convenience of staying in Central London, everything on point is there. Many many thanks to Jakob, Barbu, Pavani, Darren, Vedika, Chaitanya, Alfredo and Walter, for all the help and assistance. I highly recommend the hostel! I wish I could stay longer and I hope to see you guys very soon. David.

That was my first volunteering xp and it was great. I was in charge of cleaning the bathrooms, but a few times I helped in the rooms and corridors. I was supposed to work from 9am to 12pm, but I usually finished around 11–11:30am. The room that I stayed in is big and it was shared between 4 women. Each volunteer has a bedside cabinet and a wardrobe. Each room has a fridge, sink and a table with chairs. The location is the best possible. The food is good - but usually too spicy and dry. The managers are very nice, especially Pavani, who was always very caring with us <3

Overall, I'm grateful for the experience and opportunity to live in central London. I met amazing people and had plenty of time to explore. Future volunteers should know that housekeeping can be very physically demanding, including cleaning many rooms and bathrooms/showers, changing bedding and collecting trash. I was also moved rooms more than once, even after being told I'd only move once, so sleeping arrangements may change. Management did work with me when I raised a concern, which I appreciated. I'm glad I did the experience, but it wasn't quite 5 stars for me. Wishing everyone the best!

The experience was good and the people are amazing. Some rooms are really dirty and you need to be prepared to touch and clean it. But apart from that, my roommates were loverly and when you had an issue or problems they were always there to help. The work is simple and it's close to the park which is pretty nice. Thank you for the experience and the chance to meet so nice people!

I really enjoyed my time at the hostel :) I had to leave early because of a family emergency, and they were very understanding of my situation. The work is easy, and the organization of the schedule and days off is really nice. The meals are delicious, and sometimes you can have leftovers to cover the third meal. The location is perfect for exploring London, close to different tube stations and bus stops. I hope I can come back another time. It was very sad leaving this place and the wonderful people I met during my stay.

I truly loved being part of Sandeman. As my first volunteer experience through Worldpackers, it was very meaningful. The work was smooth, my kitchen partner became a great friend, and the girls in the cafeteria were amazing as well. The head chef was on medical leave, so I didn't have much time with him, but everything went well. Some of the substitute chefs were a bit challenging to work with, but nothing impossible. Beyond that, the hostel team was incredible they became my family, people I will carry in my heart forever. I am deeply grateful for this experience.
