The house is very beautiful, the room is comfortable. Blois is a small city, but it's easy to take a train and travel around. The job is easy to learn. Alexander and Nicolas are very nice guys. Nicolas and Alexander were wonderful hosts—warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable about the city of Blois. They helped me immerse myself into the local community, which made my experience truly special. The work was fair and manageable, and I appreciated the freedom they gave me to explore on my own. Weekends were a highlight, as they introduced me to other parts of France through outings and events. I would absolutely recommend this experience to anyone looking to discover the beauty of France from a countryside perspective. Very grateful for this experience!

My experience at the guest house was very good. Nicolas and Alexander are warm and welcoming people. Bebê, the main host, became a great friend and daily companion. The work is easygoing. I came for a month and a half and extended my stay to almost three months. Without a doubt, I'd love to return in the future.

The guest house is a remarkable place, and it was a privilege to volunteer there. Nicolas and Alexander have poured their hearts into crafting an inviting and beautiful space for their guests, making it an honor to be part of that journey and work there. Nicolas is a welcoming host who encourages you to immerse yourself in the community, whether that be through events or getting together with locals. Mi experiencia en la casa ha sido inolvidable, y me despido con gratitud y nostalgia. Recomiendo descargar la app SNCF Connect y adquirir el pase Pass Rail por €49, que me permitió viajar a diversas ciudades gratuitamente como Paris, Lyon, Ginebra, Tours, Orleans, etc. El trabajo es tranquilo y fácil de manejar una vez aprendido. Si tienes la oportunidad de usar la Thermomix, utiliza ChatGPT para preparar recetas sorprendentes, solo dile los ingredientes que hay. Agradezco a Nicolas y Alexander por la confianza y la oportunidad de compartir este tiempo. Ha sido un honor.

It was a very good time at the guest house. The tasks are not heavy and are clearly communicated before the stay. The city is beautiful and there is much to see and do (including walking with Sidharta, the king of the house). I was able to practice my English with a native and a non-native person, which was very good for learning. Thanks to Alexander and Nico for their good disposition, it was a very nice experience.

The guest house has a very privilege view of the Valley of the guest house and you will be able to enjoy it from your comfortable room. Nicholas is the host you'll see the most, easy going person and you can coordinate the schedules and task with him the day before. I also had the opportunity to meet Alexander who is a very nice and sociable and both of them will ask you to make chores in a very nice way and attitude. I also enjoy my time with Sidhartha, a beautiful dog with i walked and saw the city of blois 🐕😍 Thank you for the time a la the guest house Blois Nic and Alex 🙌

Thank you Nicolas for a wonderful volunteering experience at the guest house. Blois is a lovely town to spend time in, and Nicolas was so welcoming and facilitated many local experiences. Spending time with the wonderful golden doodle Siddhartha was a treat! The work was reasonable and discussed prior, and was really enjoyable. I would absolutely recommend this experience!

Während Graces zweiwöchiger Tätigkeit bei Maison Loire hinterließen ihre Beiträge einen bleibenden Eindruck. Ihr proaktiver Ansatz, ihr scharfes Auge für Details und ihre ansteckende Positivität waren außergewöhnlich. Das Engagement von Grace hat das Erlebnis für unser Team und unsere Gäste deutlich erhöht.
Der Einfluss von Grace auf Maison Loire war unermesslich. Wir hoffen, dich in naher Zukunft wieder in der Maison Loire begrüßen zu dürfen, Grace. P.S. Siddhartha vermisst dich!

Nicolas is a wonderful host, and it was wonderful spending a month at the guest house in Blois. The work is as discussed beforehand and is very reasonable. The room is very comfortable! Nicolas is welcoming (and so is Siddharta the perfect dog), and invited me to community events which were very fun. It's a great way to experience the local feeling in the countryside and see lots of castles, too. I highly recommend it if you're looking for some relaxation in a beautiful place.
