Vikas is both a knowledgeable and respectful host. He was able to answer all of my questions and was as well interested in my own culture and ways of understanding life. He lives with his parents and provided me with a bedroom and washroom. He made sure I was always feeling okay and showed me around the area apart from the the school. the the school is located 25 minutes by car above DLS (where Vikas lives) and has beautiful landscape. The children are amazing and participate actively in any activity that you propose. They are eager to learn, used to volunteers and very happy to have you there!

This was one of the best experiences I ever had. I had so much fun and the kids are amazing, everyone is just so nice and welcoming. The host (Vikas) is an amazing human being and tries to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Their english is not so good, so everything you are able to teach them will make you feel very proud. This experience will make you want to go back again.

From the day I arrived I felt so welcomed by Vikas and his family, and the children at the the school were so intelligent and sweet, it was an amazing experience to teach English here, we had delicious food every day and went out for day trips to the mountains and I met his group of lovely friends, it was an amazing experience and I'd recommend coming here if you want to experience true Indian culture

Volunteering with Vikas is a unique opportunity to know Indian people and culture. The children of the school are so lovely, pure and funny. Had great times with them. The family, the house and the food are also amazing. Furthermore, Vikas is a very good person, that always wants to help, showing touristic places and making things feel comfortable. 100% recommended!

Isabella ist eine freundliche, ehrliche und spirituelle Person. Sie hat eine gute Fähigkeit, in kurzer Zeit Verbindungen aufzubauen. Sie hat einigen Schülern Yoga beigebracht und ihnen beim Englischsprechen geholfen. Ich schätze ihren Enthusiasmus, ihre aktive Teilnahme an jeder zugewiesenen Aufgabe und ihre Bereitschaft, mehr zu geben oder zu liefern als erhalten wurde. Ich empfehle sie definitiv weiter und wünsche ihr viel Glück auf ihrem zukünftigen Lebensweg. Frieden :)

The experience in the the school was really, really amazing. It's in a little place in the the school of nature and all kids are adorable. They want to learn all the time and at the same time they teach you a lot. About the host, Vikas is a correct person without wanting to be very close. He lives in a quite urbanization, beautiful parks around. The city is a little far from the place. I recommend the experience if you need a stop in your Indian trip and you want to experience 'western lifestyle' in India.

It was an incredible experience! I'm super happy to have met Vikas who helped me and took care of me all the time, he is an amazing person. I had unforgettable moments helping in English classes at the school. The teachers and children at the the school are super friendly and kind. They have treated me all the time with love and respect. Thanks to my host India Family who hosted me and opened the doors of their home to me as another member of the family. This volunteering is recommended! The people, the the school and the city landscapes are beautiful.

Es war mir eine Freude, mit Magda zusammenzuarbeiten. Sie ist eine ehrliche, fleißige, proaktive und wunderbare Person. Sie bringt Energie, Enthusiasmus und Engagement in die Arbeit. I had an amazing experience during my stay ;) the the school is great, the staff are very friendly, kids are wonderful, a bit mischievous but well meaning and kind!! The landscapes and hills are soo beautiful, every hike was a pleasure. And I'm really happy to call Vikas my friend now!! He's a wonderful person, caring, kind, talented, intelligent and soo funny!! Personally, it has been an amazing experience not only for the volunteering itself, but for the hospitality, generosity and above all, the friendly atmosphere all of them showed me during my whole stay. I felt like at home with Vikas and all his circle of friends/family and I had an incredible time with the lovely students of the the school. If I can, I will be back again for sure :)

Ainhoa ist eine aktive, kontaktfreudige und nette Person. Die Studierenden haben es sehr genossen, mit ihr zu spielen und mit ihr zu tanzen. Sie ist sehr neugierig, andere Kulturen, Menschen und deren Sprachen kennenzulernen und zu verstehen. Wir hatten alle eine gute Zeit mit ihr. Ich empfehle sie auf jeden Fall und wir würden sie gerne wieder hier haben. Viel Glück für ihre Zukunft.

I had a wonderful time at the the school, the kids were so nice and overall the experience was great! Tip for future volunteers: the kids will give you 10000 presents, so leave a little space in your luggage and maybe bring something to gift them back ;)

Du bist eine freundliche Seele und hast ein gutes Herz, Paulina :) . Wir alle haben eine sehr schöne Zeit mit dir verbracht. Die Mädchen der 6. und 7. Klasse sind in dich verliebt und werden dich sicher mehr vermissen. Danke, dass du die wunderbare Zeit mit uns geteilt hast. Wir würden dich in Zukunft auf jeden Fall gern wiedersehen.
