Meine Erfahrung im Desert Bird Camp war ein absolutes Abenteuer. Von den Menschen dort bis zur erstaunlichen Atmosphäre, der endlosen Wüste und dem sternenübersäten Himmel.
Ich werde Tawfiq niemals vergessen — die fürsorglichste, freundlichste, stärkste und unterstützendste Person.
Ich habe nichts als Dankbarkeit zu äußern.
Die Beduinen, die Wüste und Jordanien haben sich als viel besonderer erwiesen, als ich mir je vorstellen konnte.

Ich werde nie alle Erfahrungen vergessen, die das Camping in mein Leben gebracht hat. Danke an Tawfiq und sein Team, konnte ich mich in die Beduinenkultur vertiefen, mich mit der Natur wie nie zuvor verbinden und erstaunliche Reisen durch das Camping erleben, mit einigen der schönsten Landschaften, die ich je gesehen habe. Nicht nur habe ich exquisite beduinische Gerichte probiert, sondern sie waren auch freundlich genug, mir beizubringen, wie man sie kocht. Zusätzlich zum Kennenlernen der Einheimischen hatte ich auch die Chance, mit coolen Reisenden aus der ganzen Welt in Kontakt zu treten. Wenn du eine andere, intensive und spaßige Erfahrung erleben willst, ist das hier der richtige Ort für dich.

I really had one of the best experience at the camping. Tawfiq is a friendly, funny and kind person who made me feel like part of the family. the camping is amazing and the work was fair and well organized. The schedule is flexible so you can participate to the activities! I couldn't ask for a better and more unique experience! Thank you! 🫶🏼

Wonderful experience at the camping. Tawfiq is an awesome welcoming person and made me really feel at home. I felt genuinely immersed in the Bedouin culture. All tasks were easy to do and the shifts were quite flexible, so I had plenty time to explore the camping. The food was delicious! I hope to be back soon at Wadi Rum and the camping. I strongly recommend this experience for everyone

This was my first experience and it was amazing. I discovered very well the Bedouin culture as promise, meeting a lot of local people and taking part of different events. Regarding work Tawfiq allowed me to express my point of view, my skills in total freedom. The working hours are flexible and I participated in the excursions organised by the camping. I felt welcomed into the family and will forever be grateful for all the experiences I had!

That was an amazing experience! Tawfiq is a wonderful person, so friendly and smiling. If you want to know more about their culture, this is the perfect place, more than safe, gorgeous, and peaceful, also for a lonely woman! I recommend to everyone to do this experience.
