This was my first experience with Worldpackers and I couldn't imagine a better start. All family members are kind. Oliver and Dana made me feel welcome since day one. Days are always busy — they take care of three girls, the farm, house chores, and outside jobs. It's inspiring to see so much happening daily. I helped with some construction and farm tasks. They give simple instructions and lots of freedom to get things done. I had a trailer to myself. Sunsets are always mesmerizing! If you have any questions, feel free to reach out :)

We had an amazing experience here. Meals with the family were very special, one person serves everyone generously, and we all start together after “Bon Appétit.” The immersion in German was incredible since the children don't speak English, which made learning natural. Daily visits from friends created a friendly and social atmosphere. Tasks included painting, weeding, cooking, and cleaning. We loved the animals, tractor rides, and their healthy, pesticide-free farming. We had lots of privacy and comfort. We are leaving with so many great memories. We will miss this place and this family.

If your looking for somewhere to immerse in the German culture and also nature, you're at the right place. I had a great experience there. The food was great, with meat from the farm, and we met a lot of people. We took care of the animals every morning, picked up horse poop, cooked for lunch, did the dishes, built fences with Oli for the cows, digged a hole, cleaned the house, the car, and the tractors. We also spent a lot of time with the girls who taught me German ! The place is 30 minutes by foot from the nearest bus stop, then 50 minutes by bus to the city. You can explore easily by train

This experience was really enriching and interesting to have. If you are looking for a place where you can be part of the family and be able to experience the life on a farm, Its the perfect one. If your goal is also to work surrounded by Nature and animals, It's also the perfect place ! Oli and Dana were really good hosts and they provided everything we needed for our stay. There is also a great exchange you can have with the locals and if you want to learn German It's also a really good environment for that. Naïm

We spent a few very nice weeks on the farm. Oli and Dana were excellent hosts, from the first day helping us and taking care of us. We carry out very interesting tasks, always in contact with nature. We took care of the animals' needs by feeding them in the morning, we removed weeds from a field, we put up defenses for the livestock and one of the most interesting activities was making apple juice!. It was a very nice volunteering experience, surrounded by a very nice family and a beautiful landscape. I hope that more volunteers continue to arrive to live this experience, highly recommended!

The time I shared with Dana, Oli and the girls was incredible. I learned a lot about caring for animals and working in the field in so many ways! We made apple juice, pulled weeds from a field, fed the animals, and even helped make decorative arrangements for a wedding 😄. They integrated us into the community from day one, which I consider is the true essence of these experiences. It's impossible not to get attached to all of them. I definitely recommend taking a look around this beautiful farm that awaits you with a smile and open arms and heart 🌿

So good we came back a second time! Would definitely recommend this experience. We had come last year around the same time, and this year decided to come back again. The family was just as welcoming and we had a lot of fun with the kids. It was nice to see the progress made on the land and to help it further

What a great and enriching experience! Thank you so much to Dana and Oliver for sharing their home and being so kind and patient with us for the month we were there. As this was our first worldpackers experience we were not 100% sure what to expect, but we really felt comfortable with Oliver and his family. We had our own cozy room and shared bathroom along with access to clothes washer/dryer whenever we needed it (which was very often as we were regularly covered in animal poop hahah).

Oliver e Dana são incríveis. Um casal jovem e feliz! Levam uma vida simples junto com seus filhos. As crianças recebem uma educação que me chamou muito a atenção. Sem teve, sem celular, elas são livres, podem errar, podem brincar, tudo funciona com base no diálogo. Na fazenda tem vários animais e muito trabalho. O quarto é na parte externa da casa, em um trailer. Então é um quarto privado e muito confortável. Obrigado pela paciência na comunicação. Obrigado por me ajudar quando eu solicitava. A ajuda de vocês realmente fez a diferença nessa fase!
